Im in Act 1 in MOTB, wondering if you are supposed to get companion feats when your influence with them reaches certain points? My influence with Sayifa is 83 and she has the devotion of the red wizard feat. I understand I should have a similar feat however I have none. Is there something else that needs to be done for me to be receiving the feats or is this a bug?

You have to talk to the companions and they offer the boons in conversation.

For some reason the conversation doesn't seem to be occurring with Safiya even though I have 89 influence now. I have got Ganns first one after going past 50 influence and then talking to him. Is sayifas different?

I looked at Safiya's conversation file and found where the Devoted feat is granted. Before the node opens up, the story has to be at some certain point ( i don't know what point, because all it says here is "00_nStoryStep > 2" ). I'd wait a bit longer and keep talking her up 'cause from a technical point of view the conversation files in MotB are pretty darn stable. i don't think its a bug ...

Safiya herself will get the feat (it looks like) as soon as Influence is raised. Then one of those StorySteps needs to be met in conversation for the PC to get access too; but if you really feel it's wonk'd give a hollar


or look it up in Feat.2da, and use the 'givefeat' console command (ya should remove the previous influence feat at the same time, btw).
