Tali says it in ME2, you can see it on the wiki. Ill find one with the asari.

Well, I'm home sick with the flu, so I decided to play a bit ME2, and nowhere in the Asari or Quarian entries do they use the word woman, women, or any variation thereof, only female. And then only to the Asari.

Except for the fact that she is according to any information source.

Have you seen MJs face? Thats MJ right there. Jack has a decent face but her body could easily be a guy`s and no one would notice.

Usually people who undergo gender reassignment refer to themselves as their designated sex prior to any procedures, and since there really can't be any confirmation, its pretty open to interpretation.

Well, Miranda is modeled after her va Yvonne, and I doubt anyone thinks she looks "manly." And Jack looks like a man because she has small breasts? Have you seen a woman before? Not a chicken woman, but a human one?

A lot of people think Miranda look manly. The translation didnt work well. Jack has a disgusting body for a female. Simple as that. Seriously, how can you tell the difference?

Asari are both donors and recipients in sex so they arent female.

How are they donors?

I could've sworn the Asari supposedly reproduce by randomizing genetic code using the "father's" DNA he doesn't actually do anything (and even that wasn't certain).

An Asari can reproduce with another Asari, therefor ONE OF THEM IS THE DONOR.

Ask any gay man or woman, they can do both, but they're still men and women. So...

If you have both sexual organs you are a hermaphrodite, not a male or female.

Donor of what?

Seriously. You said I'm dumb I want you to break it down.

No caps will be necessary. I'm "dumb" not blind.

FYI there are all female species whom "mate" with each other to lay eggs. (only by mating do the females lay eggs supposedly it simulates ovulation if they don't do this they can't lay eggs). So they're not female either?

FYI the Asari do not require sperm. They reproduce *asexually*. They randomize genetic code (some say they use the father's code for more diversity, maybe true, maybe not) for their young via the mind meld sex whatever. They can screw anything and still reproduce Asari young.

What exactly is being donated.

But they dont have two sets of genetlia, and their genetalia doesn't come into play when reproducing, but rather their minds and nervous systems.

I never said Asari were hermaphrodites, I was just responding to what you said.

Having DNA doesn't stop the Asari from being female anymore than having DNA stops you from being your gender.

As far as I'm aware they don't have two sets either and if they did we'd have bad fanfic about it with a certain fetish fans all over us (please don't tell me it already exists *shakes back and forth in the corner* )

Right, females don't donate any DNA when conceiving a child.

They donate...sparkles.

Oh god.

Using that logic FemShep isn't female. She can donate DNA to the Asari too. :pinched:

They do. Its not donating as much as borrowing. The female takes the code, the "father" has no input at all other then having the genetic code in the first place.

Its comparable to cheating off your neighbor's paper only with mind sex.

You must have missed the derailing that we've done to some troll threads. Like that one thread that got at least half a dozen of us banned.

Oh they do, perhaps I worded it wrong. I meant the asari can basically choose which gamete.

I worded badly, I said in another post. You cant have 2 female humans make a baby.  but you can have 2 asari.

Yeah. The Asari are female. Their partners don't actually donate anything, they "borrow" their code, randomize it, and make another Asari baby. How that makes them not female just because their partner is another Asari confuses me.

Wait, so there are no gametes? No sexual organs? No sexual reproduction? So, by definition they are not female. I win.
