Right, females don't donate any DNA when conceiving a child.
They donate...sparkles.
They donate absolutly nothing it's a barren wasteland! Or so certain religious convention would hold.

Wait, so there are no gametes? No sexual organs? No sexual reproduction? So, by definition they are not female. I win.Ryzaki wrote...

Yeah. The Asari are female. Their partners don't actually donate anything, they "borrow" their code, randomize it, and make another Asari baby. How that makes them not female just because their partner is another Asari confuses me.

Tali says it in ME2, you can see it on the wiki. Ill find one with the asari.
Well, I'm home sick with the flu, so I decided to play a bit ME2, and nowhere in the Asari or Quarian entries do they use the word woman, women, or any variation thereof, only female. And then only to the Asari.Kid Buu wrote...
Except for the fact that she is according to any information source.
Have you seen MJs face? Thats MJ right there. Jack has a decent face but her body could easily be a guy`s and no one would notice.
Usually people who undergo gender reassignment refer to themselves as their designated sex prior to any procedures, and since there really can't be any confirmation, its pretty open to interpretation.
Well, Miranda is modeled after her va Yvonne, and I doubt anyone thinks she looks "manly." And Jack looks like a man because she has small breasts? Have you seen a woman before? Not a chicken woman, but a human one?

I still can't see how their process of reproduction being different makes them any less female.

The ova are defined as the larger gametes in a heterogamous reproduction system, while the smaller, usually motile gamete, the spermatozoon, is produced by the male. A female individual cannot reproduce sexually without access to the gametes of a male (an exception is parthenogenesis). Some organisms can reproduce both sexually and asexually.
There is no single genetic mechanism behind sex differences in different species and the existence of two sexes seems to have evolved multiple times independently in different evolutionary lineages. Patterns of sexual reproduction include
isogamous species with two or more mating types with gametes of identical form and behavior (but different at the molecular level),
anisogamous species with gametes of male and female types,
oogamous species in which the female gamete is very much larger than the male and has no ability to move. There is an argument that this pattern was driven by the physical constraints on the mechanisms by which two gametes get together as required for sexual reproduction.[1]
Other than the defining difference in the type of gamete produced, differences between males and females in one lineage cannot always be predicted by differences in another. The concept is not limited to animals; egg cells are produced by chytrids, diatoms, water moulds and land plants, among others. In land plants, female and male designate not only the egg- and sperm-producing organisms and structures, but also the structures of the sporophytes that give rise to male and female plants.
We are talking about a species that has one means of reproduction and any member can do it. They have only one gender, and seeing as how female is one of at least 2 types, then Asari are not female. Nor do they fit the definition. Besides, Casey Hudson confirmed it.Ryzaki wrote...

Why would they have sexual organs if they only reproduce through mind ****ing? They obviously have somthing for giving birth, but is that the same for becoming pregnant? I doubt it.Ryzaki wrote...
Also where did you get the no sexual organs from? I'd assume they have something similar to ovaries since you know...they do have breasts and the babies gotta come from somewhere. Probably the vag since they have belly buttons.
