I have a problem with connecting to gamespy.. after i sign into my account and go to multiplayer it says connecting to server three times and under that it says, Connection error: your connection to gamespy has been lost... Has anyone ever heard of this issue before? if so please help, it's been like this for a week now and i'd realy like to get back to playing multiplayer again. I already tried rebooting my rouder, reinstalling NWN2 and nothing seems to work.

Sounds like your router, firewall, ISP or something else is blocking things. Gamespy is a third party service.
This app Never Launcher I am working on has a working gamespy browser. Unzip it, run the app and click on the browse tab, hit multiplayer and it should list all the multiplayer games. ( it will freeze up for a bit while it retrieves them all ) I'd be curious if that works for you.

That means you have for some reason blocked access to the gamespy main server, or the ports involved. This has nothing to do with neverwinter nights and means you cannot access any games that use gamespy for playing multiplayer as that program uses the generic gamespy protocal. ( blame firewall, router, or ISP and probably take a look at www.portforward.com for some info. Note that by default this sort of thing should not be an issue. )
You probably can direct connect if the PW posts the ip address for you, or their forums post such information. You should repost your issue and your specs on the tech support forum. My program has a button on the "build" tab named "get system specs" which should make this more convenient, and next to that is another button that opens those forums.

Sounds like firewall then. You have something like zone alarm perhaps, which you specifically allowed NWN1 to connect.
