Hey... I was just making a research about how to get the reaver spec, without losing leliana, and i have found out, with the ''save-load'' thing... But, right now, with my dwarf commoner, i was goin to redcliff ( have not fought the darkspawns yet, just came out to do some lvl ) , and got back to the map, heading to brecilian... now i'm doing that werewolve boring quest... and, walking in the forest, i've beated some wolfs... and reached lvl 7... and for my surprise, the reaver spec was there, free, just waiting to get a spec point..... Is this even possible?

i'm playing on my ps3 ( if helps, or change anything. )

Sorry about the long text, i just wanna know if my way through here made some difference.

I will lose leliana?

Once you unlock a specialization, it's automatically unlocked for every playthru.

i was suprised at my first few playthrough, i already buy Berserker tome from Gorim, then i decided to play again, because the first time failed (as i remember it was at Frostback mountain, and i have lost all health poultice to survive and have no healer mage, 2 HW PC)

the next play through, i struggle to collect 15 gold either by loot, selling loots, and strain my self from buying anything to buy the tome at Gorim, it isn't there...i thought it was glitch or something, then i got frustrated, but later somehow when i level up, i see at menu screen on the left it have been unlocked, lols...i just shout out 'whyyy???whyyy???"

i can buy many things with 15 gold, lols

Why buy poultices when you can make them?

At Cousland castle, no one can make them, in Ostagar before Tower of Ishal also no one can make them, at Tower of Ishal only temporary party member mage can make them.

Even if can make them, there are only few elfroots in Ostagar, i counted (plus i buy from quartermaster) is about 30 elfroots. My PC, Alistair, Ser Jory and Daveth already consume most of poultices, So at Lothering only few left, and only few elfroots to make poultices there. Unlimited elfroots only exist in Dalish camp, by means must go to Brecilian Forest first after Lothering if really want to produce poultice seriously.

But, i don't want that, i must buy some weapons and make money first, Denerim market offer a lot of side quests and high tier weapons (Gorim Sword and Saw Sword), also cold Iron rune to against undead (master cold iron +8 damage, a must buy), and some gears for my mage.. And so i still must buy poultice...not to mention along the way there will be road blocks with bandits and monsters, surely need poultice for those random encounters. morrigan is not a healer and not level up yet at early game.

As a warrior, i don't pick herbalism at all, i only focus on Combat and Coercion.

If playing a mage, then there is no problem, i can heal, no need poultice much, high Magic means high modifier, lesser health poultice is more than enough.

Can't say that I've ever had much trouble getting through Ostagar without a healer. If you play it smart you can get by with the poultices you pick up before/during the battle.

depends on what class you play...backstabbing rogue or archer will not get hit so much, a mage will always stay behind and sure mage player will have heal spell. Warrior will stay at front line and take damage a lot.

in every game forum we will see "i don't have any problem" posts...

^thats why if you see a spec for sale, you should save, then buy it, then reload and you get the spec for free
