after going through countless headaches and enough stress to kill an average human with the pc dragon age, i was wondering because i turned in my ps3 version after going through panic attacks that the game was harmful.

i went through 2 straight years of hell with this game, and even upgrading my graphics card did nothing to help.

my computer is way more powerful then what this game needs to run and it still is a thorn in my side.

the ps3 version was better by far, i only really came across lag and not much else. since i don't have the disk i was thinking of getting it through the psn, is that verson better then the disk version, [less lag, quicker loading screens]

i got the pc version after being tempted by mods, but i've come to a point where nothing is worth going through the hell this game drops on me.

but dispite everything it still is one of my fav games and i don't want to just trash it completely.

so is the psn version better then the disk version?

The game on disc forces a pretty large install anyway, I doubt loading would be much quicker if at all with the PSN version. They play identical.

I suggest buying the Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition on disc, you'll get the main game, Awakening Expansion plus all other DLC and it'll cost less than the PSN version (and the PSN version is only the main game, you'd need pay the high DLC prices).

Is possible you'll need phone EA customer service about the Return to Ostagar DLC on the Ultimate Edition since they forgot to put it on the disc originally, they may have fixed that with later shipments. If not they give you a PSN code for it when you call (play the game online once while connected to EA servers before calling to speed this up), free number to call incase wondered.

Yes, buy the UE on disc. The US version has RtO on it. Check the PS3 tech forum for more details on that issue.

I don't think there is really any difference between the disc and digital version in terms of performance. Having it on disc just makes it easier if your system dies and you get a new one. Or the PS9 comes out and still accepts PS3 games.

i already bought a few of the dlc before, but in this case it would just be simpler to buy the whole thing in one shot. i hate that i can't get it working on my pc no matter how hard i try. i love this game it's a shame it had to end this way as far as mods are concerned.

i'll look to see how much it's going for and get that, it's weird that there is no difference. usually downloaded versions are better good thing i thought to ask first.

thanks for the info.
