I knew a guy that called his Dog "Dog". Actually he called it Dee 'o' Gee.

I've actually know a number of people who've named their dogs Deogee.

For a while I had a cat named Rat, a dog named Kat, and a rat named Dawg. It was pretty fun watching peoples reactions when I referred to them as such.
