Do we know what the perk is for staying true to our LI from ME1?

If some people here got there way... pregnancy *shudders* Personally I'd be content with well written dialogue. Emphasis on well written.

Pregnancy? You could still get to that if you don't stay faithful.

I don't even understand how a pregnancy would work in ME3... but anyways. I am hoping an earlier chance for you to reconcile and continue your relationship, yes some well written and maybe tender romance dialogue.

A smile from the LI?  Not feeling like a jerk?

What more do you need?

True, but through the magic of Mass Effect sex, no one gets pregnant. I've seen a lot of people here go baby crazy with the LI's of choice.

Mind-blowing reunion sex right after coming aboard the refitted Normandy?

Serious answer: marriage, I hope

From a roleplaying perspective:

I don't see why there should be a 'reward' for staying faithful, other than not having to endure a cat/biyatch fight between your 2 LIs. People stay faithful to their loved ones because...they love them?

Would be nice if " Marriage, old age, and a lot of little blue children?" wasn't just a one-liner they threw in there never to be revisited.

wow... marriage and children? That would be a bit much don't you think?

I think the conclusion we got in ME2 was a HUGE step up from the blue misty haze we got in ME1. An even bigger jump in quality and content for ME3 is all that I really care about. Its not like its a traditional rpg where there's content after the campaign.

No, cause if we give the faithful a perk we have to give the cheaters a perk, and that would imply Bioware and EA condown cheating, which isn't cool.

EDIT: Typo.

Well sometimes cheating is cool, just depends who's cheating with whom and who's getting cheated on.

Seems like the only way you can "cheat" is to hook back up with Liara in LotSB while still in a relationship with an ME2 LI. So ME3 would need to acknowledge LotSB.

Not at all; I can't really blame the VS for moving on if they chose to do so and I don't see how they could blame Shepard either.
