Well, speaking from experience, its not uncommon in border cities like Harbin,China to find people that are half russian half han or even mongolian. So its not beyond the pale for Alenko to be half asian half eas european.t

I see. Still, I don't think it's a conincidence he's as unusually named as he is. I mean, Ashley Williams has a super-standard American name, Shep has American name, yet Kaidan has something totally unusual, having characteristics from many different cultures. And he's from Vancouver which is famous for having diverse population

Now that you talk about ... why are there no typical German names in ME ... even Conrad Verner -sounds- like one but is no typical German name. Rupert Gardner? Same here.

From how I interpret the Dossier, I always thought he had some asian ancestry, specifically from Singapore, but his family could have easily been stationed there (I have not read the comics or novels or know if he is even made reference to in those publications).
