Mine was actually in Kasumi's loyalty mission, where Hock fights you with the helicopter.

I made the mistake of trying to go through her recruitment at the start of my insanity run, and there were lot of controller throwdowns.

Well, in my case, I was specifically referring to doing so on insanity while also being at a low-level.

The rachni infested mine as part of UNC: Listening Post Alpha caused me a lot of trouble. As did the krogan fight on Therum. And the geth armature on Therum. And the confrontation with the geth just before Saren's reveal on Virmire. In ME2, Kasumi's loyalty mission and LotSB stand out, as well as the derelict reaper.

Essentially, I'm fine as long as I can stay in cover and pick enemies off. As soon as they actually move around (like geth stalkers, Saren at the end, the asari spectre in LotSB) or even worse, rush you (husks, thorian creepers, rachni) I'm just screwed.

All this is on normal difficulty. Did I mention I suck at shooters?

Arrival, Fight for your Life mission on insanity, couldn't do it even with a soldier...

Well I am good at shooters. So Its all the same to me.

I'm good at shooters too, and the Arrival battle is still probably one of the most challenging in ME2.

I did the 5 wave battle first time I played it.

I'll never forgive Bioware for putting that damn collector ambush in the game . If only I had my mattock rifle it would've probably been a lot easier on insanity.

Both games are pathetically easy on Insanity except for one mission, the derelict ship filled with husks in ME1.

Krogan battlemaster while recruiting Liara in ME1.
Ship full of biotics in ME1.
Mr. Hock in his gunship while recruiting Kasumi in ME2.

You know, you're suppose to "die" on that part. Shep just wakes up in a cell.

Collector Ship on Insanity as a soldier with a Revenant. It took me about 3 hours to do that part. After that battle, everything became surprisingly easy.
