What's Your Most Disappointing Game of 2011?

For me, I'll say these in particular order:
1. Bulletstorm - Honestly, too much profanity for me, and the game lost its fun factor after about five minutes. Fortunately I got all my money back.
2. Homefront - Spiritual Sequel to Freedom Fighters? Please, this was incredibly dull. The multiplayer is pretty good, though.
3. Assassin's Creed Revelations - I'm a big fan of the series, but I am absolutely disappointed by this game. Heck, I even have a review of it on Amazon. The best part of this game was the multiplayer.
4. LA Noire - I was really bored by this game. That's pretty much all I have to say.
I was originally going to put Saints Row the Third on this list, but honestly, despite my comment about a week and a half ago about it in the Saints Row the Third thread, I find it to actually be a solid game, despite some flaws. Also I left Duke Nukem Forever off my list because that's a given.

That's all I can really think of. I haven't followed that many games this year.

2. MW 3
3. Dragon Age 2 (moslty because i had very high expectations)
4. ACR
5. Rage
There are many others but i don't count them since i had no expectations in the first place.

Homefront- I was intrigued by the premise. Idk why but watching the singleplayer campaign gave me a Half Life vibe somewhat. It seems like it was going to be a long, story-driven game and I ended up getting a 6 hr long shootfest with a poorly-executed plot.
Dragon Age 2 - Don't get me started.

Biggest disappointment for me was Crimson Alliance.

Dragon Age 2. I expected better in terms of narrative. Blood flying. decapitations everywhere... what is this brütal legend? o_O
MW3. Take out the story, and you have a jog around the globe with very pretty set pieces. That's it.

Just another FPS with small verity of weapons with stupid and uninteresting story, uninteresting characters and another American jingoism game which I'm sick of in every single for of media.

Persona 2
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
That was the most horrible and painful experience this year. Big eyes, fluffy hairs, blue/green/violet hairs everywhere, lame combat and game mechanics, ridiculous enemies, ... , ... , the list goes on miles long.
And the worst of all - 90% of the game time is spent on f...ing grind fest. Same boring repetive combat over and over and over.
ehhhhh. what can I say. ... JRPGs.
And the third dissapointment is obvious :
Dragon Age 2 - Everyone knows how bad it is, so I don't need to explain.

Why all the Dungeon Siege 3 hate? I thought it was pretty good.
It's trendy. No, really. Much of the DS3 hate I see is from people admitting they haven't even played the demo, let alone the game.
The usual reasoning is it's too different from the previous two titles. That it isn't enough of an RPG. I always found that pretty silly, as Dungeon Siege was mindless hack 'n' slash; and barely required player input. Dungeon Siege II was more of the same, except with more clicking involved. It was basically party-based Diablo. Oh, and the mule complaints. There's no pack animal to foist items on in DS3, so it follows the entire game is rubbish.
I have read valid criticism from players that disliked DS3, but they are a vast minority.
As for this thread, I can't make any contributions. There isn't a game I tried this year that disappointed me.

"VideoGamer said the game "never progresses beyond the identity issues it had with Origins", criticized the lack of noticeable characters, small area of setting, while adding "simplification of combat doesn't work in the game's favour". Game Informer gave the PC version of the game a score of 7.75 and the console versions an 8.25, criticizing the poorly designed combat system, stating "On all platforms, Dragon Age II caters to an audience that didn’t connect with Origins, while alienating those who did" and "improving the polish doesn’t do much good when the basics still need work". Gamespot noted that the game suffered from "unnecessary simplification and unfocused storytelling" but still left a strong impression.
My personal gripes?
The Story, although well-presented, didn't quite do it for me. Some of the characters are absurd in design(points to IsaBooba). The Pop-In-out-nowhere mages that insta kill my party. The underwhelming environments. It's better in certain areas than origins, but overall I wasn't impressed. Kirkwall certainly looked good though. It wasn't a bad game. It was a bit on the dissapointing side, though.

2. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II - The first one was meh/okay, the second was an abhorrent mess of a storyline, a lackluster combat system and suffered from being crap. The only great thing about it was the visuals. Everything else was Bantha Fodder.
3. Dead Island - I never planned on getting this game but upon realising that it was just a Borderlands copy with zombies everywhere and that it wasn't going to be this brilliant survival horror title... that was a major disappointment. And then someone gifted it to me. Before the Steam Inventory system came up. So I couldn't reject it. And I played it. Oh the horror.
4. 3DS - A seriously lackluster amount of decent launch titles has made me realise I was right in cancelling my order for the game. There isn't enough going on for me to warrant a purchase. I've played so many great UPCOMING titles on the 3DS at the London Eurogamer Expo 2011 this September but right now? No thanks. Nintendo, I am disappoint.
5. Assassin's Creed Revelations - Well I haven't finished the game but... I've heard how the ending was odd and out of place and that only those diehard AC fans would be interested in it. As of the moment I am enjoying it, there's a lot more micromanagement of your Assassins and you have more control than ever over what the Brotherhood does. Yet... well, I'll be bracing myself for disappointment.

I'd say biggest disappointments are Saints Row 3 and The Witcher 2, while both are freaking awesome, I had huge expectations (still, The Witcher 2 is the second best game this year, only inferior to Skyrim)

Guerilla Games multiplayer changes was for the worse.
- 12 vs 12 instead of 16 vs 16
- No spawn grenades
- Map limitations
- no custom servers
- clan system isnt as deep as KZ2
etc
Also the campaign was really short and dissapointing...
L.A. Noire and RAGE comes in right behind it. I overhyped L.A. Noire and RAGE was just super boring ...

4. Heroes VI (Not as good as it should be)
