Hi folks,

Picked up ME on Steam the other day, and thanks to the sticky I was able to get the BDtS DLC downloaded and installed. Despite hearing Pinnacle station isn't much good I decided to get it for completeness. When I was on the EA chat support getting the BDtS key I asked about Pinnacle and he said I have to buy it on Origin but it definately works with the steam version, so I have just gone ahead and bought it. I have the key on my Origin purchase details, but the question is where do I download an installer like the BDtS one that will work with Steam? The only option seems to be to install Origin, which I dont particularly want to do, but if I do will I get an installer that works on the Steam version, or was the guy on EA chat talking bs?

If anyone can shed some light I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi there.

You'll need to install Origin as your purchases on that service download through the Origin client as I understand. Once that has been downloaded, you should be able to install that into the Mass Effect directory (if it is not done automatically). After that you can *probably* uninstall Origin, but don't quote me on that.

BDtS has an installer just lurking around because it was made free for PC.

Yep, Origin is the only legal source of Pinnacle Station.
You could try your luck obtaining it from other sources, and using your legit code with it, just dont install or use any of the cracks that come with it.

Thanks again. I ended up installing origin to download it and it installed itself on my Steam version just fine, after which I uninstalled Origin.

I downloaded Pinnacle Station from Origin to my PC. As far as I know it's already installed but it does not show up under downloadable content in Mass Effect (Bring Down the Sky does) does anyone know what's up?

Try installing it again Vigil. If Origin doesn't let you uninstall it, you could try deleting it's folder in your C>Programs Files x86 location first, then reinstall with Origin.

Can i get Pinnacle Station with PaySafe card ?
I hate using other options.
To think i bought Mass Effct 1 from England because in Greece i couldnt to find it.
