just change your password to some super long sequence and then burn the cue card so that you will never log on again - good as deleted.

Us moderators simply don't have that authority. We can't even "run home to mama" and ask someone else to do it. My suggestion would be to either walk away and forget about it, or to send a request to EA's website/customer support and demand they delete your account.
