 Both of my
fathers were Spectres; you’ve probably heard of them, Commander Kaidan Alenko
and Commander Aedan Shepard. I spent most of my childhood traveling throughout
the galaxy with them as they were given various missions by the Council. You
get used to the constant traveling after a while. I always loved it as a kid,
being able to explore the universe with the two most important men in my life.
Dad, which was Commander Shepard, would train me in combat on his down time. He
would always go easy on me; could tell that he’d never wanna seriously injure
me. Padre, which was Commander Alenko, (don’t ask me how I learned to call him
Padre, it just stuck) taught me to develop my biotic barrier to it’s full
potential … with the email advice of a Justicar named Samara. Dad said she accompanied
him on a dangerous mission a few years ago. I only met her once, but she seemed
very pleased to meet me; guess Dad and Padre talk about me a lot. I guess you
could say I was their “miracle”. Biologically, I don’t have a mother. My
fathers used their DNA to genetically tailor me. I even heard that they took
advice from a Cerberus operative named Miranda Lawson. Apparently she was “born”
a similar way and helped my fathers pick the best attributes possible. But
during my development, there was a serious concern about my vital signs.
According to Padre, I had developed VSDs, or holes in the chambers in my heart.
Just another obstacle for me to overcome. My fathers have always been my icons.
I hear stories of their heroism and their selflessness and I hope to compare to
them one day … Ah ****! Who I am kidding? I am my fathers son!
