I just went to Gamestop and finished paying off my collector's edition. I'm also planning on buying the Art of the Mass Effect Universe book and Mass Effect: Deception to get hyped up. (I just finished reading Ascension and Retribution.) So who else has paid off their preorder? Or if you haven't preordered yet, say why you haven't or aren't going to.

I was going to buy the Collectors edition, but I won't spend that much in a third-person shooter.

I'll buy when its used and for $15 or so. I want to finish the story. After that, no more ME unless they change the direction they are going in.

I'm trying to convince my parents to let me pre-order it, yet they keep saying they don't want me to spend my money on a video-game. I told them it could be like a christmas gift to myself since i got nothing this christmas. No dice. Then i said when i get it, it'll be like a birthday gift since my b-day is like 7 days after the release of ME3. Still no dice.

Paid off in Full for ME 3 CE upon December 27, 2011.

Purchased and Paid in full ME 2 CE upon that same day. It's now shipping, and last I checked, in Illinois. I only had the Std Ed of ME 2 before (two copies).

Collector's Edition @ Amazon=no payment til they ship and can cancel without cost.

Waiting word on the Origin requirement for ME 3. Since the topic of Origin just keeps getting killed, I will kill my pre-order prior to March if nothing official about the Origin requirement is released by then. Then will consider regular version well after release if Origin is mandatory.

I put down $10 the first time. I'm probably gonna put down 20 more tomorrow then 10 the next. Then back to 20 until it's payed off so I don't have to worry and just slip in at my GameStop then off I go. Oh and it's the N7 Collector's Edition as well.

Wow, you really do.  I paid for the whole thing when I preordered the CE.  
Now I just have to wait until March.
