Is TIM really a bad guy or is Cerberus attacking and TIM is "faking" the total indoctrination? (Speculation)

The man who sees everyone around him as nothing more than assets and had no qualms about letting thousands of people die to accomplish his own goal turned out to be a bad guy. What a shock.

i never really trusted Tim in the first place. so to betray me you have to have trust, he didn't. so he was my lesser enemy of the two

TIM is not "faking" it (would have make sence if TIM had been kicked out of Cerberus though).

no the shock is that after spending oh the better part of 30 years building Cerberus as means to defeat the Reapers he all suddenly goes around and joins them that's the part that stinks not the fact the he is a bad guy.

He's not indoctrinated.

Saying anything beyond that would be a spoiler.

Likewise. You'd start a nuclear war just because some uptight douchebag who has nothing better to do than to get wasted all day told you that it's good for the sake of mankind.

Sure, if the option were actually there. I'd have no qualms with a seperate Cerberus path that has TIM turning on you near the end, as long as the path itself is actually there.

This is what I was actually hoping for. A Cerberus path where the final choices in the sub-plot are...

P) Shepard spares TIM, hands Cerberus over to the Alliance, and becomes the Director of Operations.
R) Shepard kills TIM, takes over Cerberus him/herself, and becomes the new Illusive (Wo)Man.

Ticktank? Posting a comment that isn't just childish remarks about my life?

That'd require him to have the IQ that's higher than a crotch fungus.

Yeah, you better start bragging about how much of a life you have on this internet forum instead.

Tim's a good guy. He's just Renegade for life. I wouldnt put it passed him to fake indoctrination. The comics made it seem like he was immune to it. Does he make hard decisions for the greater good? Sure, but he wants humanity to not end up enslaved and that might take inhumane decisions to ensure humans not becoming extinct. Is he a punk, sure. But he gets the job done.

"Its their job the put their lives on the line... its your responsiblity to make sure they come back."

That is probrably the most  pop culture line that sums up leadership the best.
