Image IPBUpdate for those with the same or similar issues:

1. Had a BOD, and indirectly was related to my installs after installs of Dragon Age 2. The cd finally worked but it wasnt because of the CD like i thought. It also wasnt because of my burners (i tried 3 different makes) it was because of the new 1155 technoligy with the marvell 6g drivers and or ports.

Why did that effect the installs? because whatever it was reading to the hdd and extracting would either timeout or couldnt write to the harddrive. I started to see BOD errors poping up and low and behold i figured it out being the marvell 6g drivers for my Asus p8z Deluxe board. This was a problem way back before last christmas, when intel had issues with the 3g/6g sata controllers.

Well it arised again for me. Now i havent seen a BOD since i put the hdd on the 3g controllers and the board seems to be running faster aswell.

I may RMA this one back after i talk to asus about it. I had alot of testing done today and yesterday. I am glad it finally installed and i am also very glad i figured this quirky issue out for others.

1. Check your CD rom ?? if issues. Data sync/ r/w issue can stop the installation.
2. Harddrive controller errors (sometimes not seen) r/w interrupts.
3. Dirty Cd's are a huge issue with these new devices. (same with Samsungs blueray players)

I am sure EA will chime in now, that they reconize this maybe why 1/2 are not installing correctly since release.

also everytime i tried to copy the files to the HDD random croupt files showed in winrar (thats because the sync issue with the controller and the hdd.

Problem solved.
