 Hi.

I played a lot of Mass Effect 1 and had a save which I used to start my campaign ibn Mas Effect 2. Shortly after starting it my Xbox hardware died and I was not able to get my old ME 1 or 2 save. So due to this I hve still not played Mass Effect 2 as I wanted my old choices to be set.

I heard the PS3 version lets you choose the criteria and choices done in ME1, but as I own the game on the Xbox 360 I seem to not have this possibility. Is there any way around this? Cause to my understanding, saves are profile bound so I cannot find someones elses save and start playing.

Could you please help me with suggesting an approach so I can start playing again?

You could start playing without making any choices by starting the default game in ME2 (which I would call extreme Renegade).

The reference to the PS3 version allowing you to make your choices is in fact the Genesis comic dlc you are thinking of. As I understand it there are six choices in that so not all decisions that are possible to make in ME will be reflected in ME2. Can't remember off the top of my head how much it costs though.

What precisely happened with your old console? If it wasn't a HDD failure it would have been possible to preserve that info. Whether you still have it is the issue.

Hi OBakaSama,

Thank you for the answer. I unfortunately do not have my old hardware available any more.

I will try this DLC out, even if not all things are saved, I'm hoping that I will be able to have the bigger choices available. That and being able to save Wrex.

Thanks,
