Well if it is a troll OP then a pretty good one. Because he got us good.

Its hard to tell, since this is pretty close to what an actual complaint looks like here.

Who cares about continuity and lore consistency? We just want to shot things and blow them up pew pew! Thats what the bioware marketing director says, so he has to be right!

I'll get back to you on March 6 when I play the final product, not a leaked beta that was never meant to be seen by the public.

That's mean, numbers guy. He'll clearly tear out both of his shoulders by spamming those... even if he ends up w/ top kill count in Seek & Desroy

Simple, Anderson keeps a back-up pistol designed for penetrating armor while his main weapon is designed to combat enemy barriers. Seeing that Shepard is going to be fighting armored opponents, he tosses Shepard that weapon. Besides, "not generally deployed in the military" does not mean that a military officer can not and will not have such a pistol.

No.  Anderson's clearly a dual-1887's kind of guy.  After all, he did appear in MW2 pretending to be Sgt. Foley.

He also likes plasma guns, pretending to be the Arbiter.

He should so get out a plasma sword when he does a melee attack

It appears the average troll's intelligence is increasing.

We must develop new strategies to combat this unforeseen predicament.

It's really hard to take someone seriously when they create topics complaining about Shepard using a certain pistol.

Do you honestly expect every minor detail to be accurate?
People can make mistakes, the BioWare staff being no exception.

Considering what this particular OP has posted in this past I don't think he is trying troll which just makes it more ridiculous.

Yeh.  I'm sure I'll be accused of being a hypocrite, but honeslty I can't tell the differnce between one heavay pistol and another.

Hmm... well then simply have the Phalanx instead?

And isn't that look similar to the standard issue we used in ME1? So what if it's a Hahne-Kedar Kessler pistol?

This.

There is nothing wrong, if Shep uses this weapon. The lore is still respected.

Maybe those M3s were Anderson's privately owned weapons. :P

Why would you be accused of being a hypocrite? Because you're anti breathing mask?

Man, there's a difference between being on the Rayya during Tali's loyalty mission, in a crucially sterile environment where everyone is in sealed suits, with Jack beside you, topless but for a breathing mask -- and Anderson handing Shepard a gun that is *generally* not used by the Alliance.

FYI, the E3 demo showed Shepard using the Mattock against the batarian husks, while the beta has him using the Avenger.

Bottom line: Don't take everything for granted just yet.
