Sorry that this problem may seem mundane and exceedingly simple, but i have just bought DA:O ultimate edition from steam and installed it.
Here's the silly problem; it appears that my account in the Bioware community has not registered the game to be owned by me as it says i must log in with an account that has previously bought the content; Warden's Keep, Blood Dragons Armour etc. and Bloodlight, Witchcraft and Golem's Might.
I apologiase in advance for the simplicity of this enquiry but I really really want to play this game.
Would be grateful for any help in rectifying this

From the sound of your message, you need EA, not just your fellow game- players. Neither Bioware nor EA are at all regular participants in here. DA: O has been moved so it's now under the DA-2 section of EA's Help system.

I have a similar question. Bought the game on steam, received the CD-keys. Registered here and redeemed a code. I was doing this while installing the game but now steam wont get passed the 5/5th stage of installing, and it says I need to redeem a code. Wich I already did. Whats going on here?

I found a solution online and take no credit but forgot the link so i'll try explain.
The steam version has some sort of problem that causes it to not update something or other.
Run services.msc as admin and search for "Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater".
The start-up type should be set to 'automatic' and service status should be 'started'.
Once this is done, restart DA:O and it should have to content up to date.
This worked for me and hope it helps you out too.
