Hiya, I'm just wondering if multiple romances are possible. Like, say, Hawke romances both Fenris and Isabela. I've heard about people who romance Anders, Fenris and Isabela at the same time, but I think they're just joking... But, yeah, just want to know if it's possible without it back-firing (which is how I think it would). I've gone through the game a few times and I've never romanced two or more characters at a time, so I thought to see if it was possible.
Multiple romances?

Starting a new romance break the others off. Basicaly you can go with Fenris, Isabella Anders/Merrill, be warned however as soon as you allow Anders and Merrill to move in with you the other romances are dead. As soon as you sleep with anybody else Fenris moves on and won't restarts the roamance and I imagine the same counts for Isabella.

My current playthrough, I flirted and slept with Isabela, but will end up with Merrill. Issa will sleep with you and you can say 'it's just for fun' and she will leave, not triggering the romance. I was surprised later when she accosted me about Merrill, I was able to flirt with her.
She called my boy a tease and seemed amused but still told him she would cut off his balls if he hurt Merrill.
So, in some instances you can do multiple relationships, but they are limited. And it changes some banters in the game too.

I believe that even if you sleep with Isabela "for fun", Fenris' romance won't trigger anymore. If you want to sleep with him, you should probably do him first. Then Isabela and then Anders. I think that would work.

Thanks guys! So, if I want to sleep with Fenris and Isabela, do Fenris romance scene first, then Isabela's, telling her it was just for fun, right? Or I could probably stick with one ... gah! Why did they make the character's so attractive?!

you get the romance clothes so long as you have started a romance with that character - doesn't mean it's currently activated or will be the one you end with. fenris will still keep his favor if you dump him and move on to anders so i imagine its the same for merril and isebella

Once you sleep with someone and finalize the romance with them afterwards, I don't believe the game lets you progress any further in the other romances. I know you can sleep with Isabela but not start a romance with her and I believe you can still romance other characters afterwards. I know you can't have even flirted with anyone else if you want to romance Sebastian though. There are also jealousy scenes, like if you flirted a lot with Anders but then end up with Fenris and have both in your party Anders will confront you about it etc.

Don't know a thing about Fenris, myself, but I think that with Isabella, the deciding factor is allowing them to move into Hawke's estate. Although Isabella won't ever do this, herself, she seems to take keen offense to anybody else doing it.esper wrote...

She didn't seem to mind that Hawke slept with Merrill and Anders, which happened during the period where she was gone from the party anyway, but for reasons unknown, I didn't get the "except Isabella, of course" epiloque I've heard of.
