Direct2Drive not honouring preload, 20 gig download will wait for the 3rd?

This was one of my main reasons for choosing
D2D. I did not realize it is a 20 gig download
either. Again, as a consumer, I get tricked.
How typical.

Theres a big countdown clock on the DAO pages that shows when the pre-load will be available, and its set to Pacific time... I have to wait until 1PM my time

Yeah, I haven't seen a single word on Steam about the pre-load; normally they would have something put up by now. That said, give em till around Noon Pacific Time - thats when they tend to let these things start.

Not just this game - there is an ever increasing lack of patience across the net in general. After the game is released we will see an influx of 'this game is crappy' followed by 'this game is broken' followed by 'i want a patch now' posts. All within the span of a few days (or hours in some cases).
