Who ever heard of a non-refundable preorder for a digital product?



This sucks, the only reason I bought the game on D2D was because I was afraid it wouldn't be on Steam.



After Steam version was announced, I sent a ticket to cancel my pre-order and was denied.



Then D2D announced pre-loading and Steam didn't so I was happy with buying from D2D... now preload time comes around and Steam is ready to go while D2D completely dropped the ball.

This is pretty ironic. I initially ordered with D2D, but I switched to steam because the majority of my games are on steam. Then I hear that d2d is offering pre-loading but steam didn't announce anything at the time. Now this, with d2d having pre-loading troubles and steam pre-loading as I type.

The Dragon Age: Origins (standard) version is now available for Pre-load. The Duluxe Edition will be available shortly!

Yeah, I got My Account -> games, and where it should show my d/l link, all I got is the red 'pre-ordered' box. I guess they're slowly rolling out the downloads? I hope I get to grab it overnight. Anyone know if the soundtrack is listenable as soon as you get it or if that's locked 'til Tuesday also?

I'm not in hysterics about this, but I am kind of annoyed. Maybe I shouldn't have said all those awful things about IGN in my blogs and on the podcast. Oops.



Sounds like they're making headway, if the FAQ page changed, even if it was for only a moment.
