I've been gaming a while, and I don't think in any forum for any game I have seen "what you would like see borrowed..." as much as I have here.  Yes, there are good aspects about Skyrim, the Witcher 2, ME series, and SWTOR.  I can understand why there is a desire to borrow things from each, but isn't that what got DA 2 in trouble to begin with?

If I want an action-based RPG with a voiced protaganist, I turn to the Witcher series.

If I want to experience a dialogue wheel, I'll opt for ME games. (I know there's a lot more to enjoy about ME and more similarities between DA 2 and ME than that but I'm simply using that as an example for brevity's sake).

If I want to roam in open territory (sandbox), I turn to Skyrim.

God help me, if I want to play a JRPG, it's already out there.

And so on...

Would it not be better for the Dragon Age series to develop (or return as some would argue) to a unique vision and experience independent of other games?  Otherwise, the game is not unique, and if it's not unique, what is the point of DA 3 really?
