You can't seriously expect continuity in Star Wars anymore. It's going to get to the point where every line of dialogue is a retconn of the previous line.

I'm talking about the lightsaber forms if you play the MMO the tanks and movies aren't the same plus why can't tanks have Ataru form and Soresu/ Shien for deflecting laser blast all jedi and sith should have skill.

Plus I understand what your talking about the dialogue feels like a singleplayer game instead of a MMO.

Juyo was created long before Mace Windu and Sora Bulq. They just created a new variation of the form, Vaapad. Of course, none of the lightsaber forms are hard canon as they haven't appeared in any of the films. The forms were first presented in Star Wars Insider and then further expanded upon in various books and games, notably KotOR II and now TOR.

Actually lightsabers forms was in the movies the Ataru, Juyo,Soresu Form in the biggest fights of star wars

Star Wars Ep 1 - Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi utilize Ataru against Darth Maul Juyo on Naboo.

Star Wars Ep 2 - Yoda using Ataru against Count Dooku's Makashi

Star Wars Ep 3 - Obi-Wan Kenobi, utilizing Sokan, gains the high ground over Darth Vader on Mustafar.

I know man but you have the read the books or look online for more info about star wars cause there a lot stuff that wasn't in the early movies like the lightsaber combat forms to find out how all this come together you have read The Tale Of The Jedi Series books or look it up online to understand the expanded Star Wars Universe.

On another random note, I wonder if they will make another SW movie eventually, I doubt Lucas would have much involvement in it, but I can see it being done.

Back on topic, there is way to much stuff in the SW universe, for anyone aside from the religiously devoted ones to keep track of, and I can't say I didn't try lol (I got lost almost 10+ years ago in terms of lore)

If this is a concern it would be best to post it on the SWTOR community website if it hasn't already since the Bioware members here have nothing to do with it.

The problem isn't even the amount of stuff to keep track of, its that they keep changing stuff thats already established. Entire established characters and races can be completely changed at the drop of a hat with whoever comes along next having to clean up the mess. It is massive but it would be so much easier to keep track of if the cannon wasn't constantly changing. You could not pay attention for a few weeks then come back and discover Asaaj Ventress is now a completely different race with a new back story that not only changes her but the Dathomiri witches too. Its a bloody nightmare.

Its actually what Greedo was talking about until Han got bored and shot him, but we all know how Lucas changed it. First he made Greedo a bounty hunter and then he made him shoot first, forever ruining the scene.

how was the scene ruined?. Han shooting first made him look like a complete dick. I'm glad they changed it.

So, you're saying they're screwed up based on lore?

Oh... I thought this was about how it's screwed up that you have to be at certain levels to unlock them. I only played the beta and as soon as I turned Sith Warrior, I expected to be able to use a new form from the get-go. Oh, and the one I wanted to use, wasn't even in the buyable ability list at all...

First of all, you need a Subscription to post anything on Swtor forums which to me is ridiculous so there is no way to access the star wars the old republic web forums unless people have the subscription code for the game but i was a beta tester and I watch people play it on justin tv the same build that beta testers had before releasing the game.

Its because bioware didn't do enough research before making this MMO like what they did with Kotor and Kotor 2 if developers would had done some more research of The Tale of the Jedi series books to really fix the lightsaber forms and Jedi's / Sith combat styles.

I'm talking strictly based off the perspective of gameplay, it doesn't make sense gameplay wise to lock the forms for later levels.  I'd understand if they were upgrades to another form, but they are not.
