Because it's impossible to get your hands on here in Denmark. I think that Game is the only retailer selling it here in Scandinavia, and all of the Game stores was closed down here in September. That, and it's ridiculously expensive.

And the CE is already getting more than enough extra stuff. What DA2 did with Sebastian, making people without the 'regular' edition pay extra on day one, was inexcusable, and I honestly expected the ME team to be better than that. Perhaps I was wrong.

Discshop has ME3 CE.

I think it is wrong that I'm not considered a long time and true fan because I'm not willing to pay twice the price for the Collectors Edition. £30 regular edition, £59.99 for the CE.

Complaining that people who got more because they're spending more is like complaining about a guy who got a large got more food than you when you only ordered a small.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't it any of the DLC is pretty big and not just weapons.
I'm getting it anyway though and mainly for the artbook so I'm not really fussed whether they do or not.

Judging by how they handled it in ME2, it'll probably be Day One DLC for everyone. As for dev reaction, based on the Twitter thread, most of them are bug fixing and/or putting the final touches on different aspects of the game. They might not have the time to actually post on here.

It's all about money. Collectors Edition will have to pay for the DLC, while probably owners of normal version will have to buy Bioware points in order to get this bonus character. It all comes down to one thing, money. That's my point of view, I don't know what others think about it.

Currently, we have no plans to make the CE material downloadable unless you purchase the CE. This could change in the future, but we have no plans to do so currently.

This is great to hear. Finally, exclusive content I went out of my way to obtain will actually remain exclusive. Now it won't feel like a waste of effort down the road.

It's part of the CE content, so the obvious answer (one Chris himself answered at the beginning of this thread) is no.

If the content is NOT CE exclusive, (which is the opposite of what has been expressly implied) then the answer is yes. Shall I draw a venn diagram for you?

He has already said that all CE dlc is only for the CE, and he locked the thread specifically about the character without changing his answer, so it is safe to assume that the character dlc falls under the bracket of CE dlc. Anything else is just grasping at straws. If the character wasn't part of dlc he was mentioning he would've changed his answer.

2. More seriously - does the ultimate DA contain all the DA dlc - question is there a possible ultimate edition out there with all the ME2/Me3 retailer  special contetnt I missed/will miss (CE on order from EA/Origin - and yes they know my preferred brand of wrist restraints.)

BTW, did you see that post where some one is selling terminator armor/weapon dlc for $300 on ebay? BW ought to release the stuff just to short circuit that kind of pathological behaviour - I'm all for free market capitalism, but that is pure delusional materialism and exploitation of the mentally infirm imvho)

That depends on how you read the CE pic on the ME3 website. Everything BUT the squaddie and missions says exclusive, which is why we're asking this very simple question. 

Its an old image. The trailer for the N7 edition lumps all the CE dlc, character included, under the word 'bonus'.
