Okay, first I offer infinite apologies for my newbie question. If it helps, I'm a massive ME & ME 2 fan, and, I already preordered ME3.

Anyway, does anyone know where you can find the Neverwinter Nights toolset?

From Bioware jobs:

"An example of writing via the Neverwinter Nights toolset should be
provided. Sorry, we cannot accept alternate submissions or other tool
sets (NWN2, DA, etc). A copy of the NWN toolset can be obtained on sites
such as www.gog.com."

I can't find it on gog.com and searching for it on the web is a mess.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be great. Is it part of the original game?

Thanks in advance.

Beta version on File Planet

I'm sure there are other DL sites.  This is the first one that popped up when I googed. If the freeware version is not fully functional you will need to purchase/DL the v1.69 version of NwN from GoG or other site or borrow a friend's copy.  Take note that the version of the content that is created is based on the version of the toolset so v1.69 contains the latest default bells and whistles.  There are also utilities and add-ons available through the IGN Vault.

Good luck, amigo!

The toolset comes with the game.  Since it uses the game's art resources and has been updated over the years with newer functions, I'd suggest getting the full game and expansions from gog.com.

If you want help, tips, pointers, etc. for using the toolset, there's a section of this forum for that and there are many helpful resources in the module builder's section of neverwinternights.info.

Good luck!
