I'm making lvl 20 NPC avatars of all the usual suspects (contributors) for this months demo. Quite fun really. But I've noticed an interesting thing I simply can not explain.- two NPCs, same equipment, both leveled up with the class levelup wizard...

The lvl 20 Rogue is CR 20
The 10 Rogue/10 Shadow Dancer is CR 45?!
Almost makes me feel guilty that she gets a "pack-ogre" henchman...

Does the engine really handicap the SD *that* much?

P.s. Any of the above mentioned suspects who'd prefer a little more control over their avatar, feel free to build an NPC (lvl 20 avatar, lvl 15 henchman, if any. Vanilla equipment> )and Erf them to me <is that a verb, boss?>

Not *quite* working, though... the "was rude" conditional doesn't fire... but I'll get to it.
Haven't seen what Tyndrel comes up with, yet. (Edit: Thank you T ;-)
And haven't decided how hard to tweak TAD's nose...
Setting up an ambient behavior for the Mistress, at the mo... ;-)

Just thought of a possible project. A joint mini PW for testing out PW based content. Contributors only. That way we could test stuff more thoroughly and have fun as well.

In *theory* I love the idea.
However... <uh-oh>

1) Who would host it where?
2) What mad man would actually be willing to continually change things for experimental fun? I.e. Who would admin that chaos? (Specifically bowing myself out, btw. Mistress can tell you I'm already way over my "are you *crazy*!" limit ;-)

Answer those two questions (perhaps moving this topic into its own thread?) and I think it's a pretty good idea.
Just let the areas/content build on all the previous months.
It would be CHAOS.
But a good idea :-)

Hmmm, call it the Courts of Chaos? (Zelazny, btw is my hero and the single most influential author on my writing <which explains a lot> Explains *you*. <...> Heh. <nevermind> Thought so.)

I could host it myself on my own PC. We could arrange a set time to meet up and test stuff. Builders could send me me stuff with instructions how they want it set up then they could DM a test run. If I start with a basic CEP based mod say Vuldrick's base mod we can go from there.

Ok, I'm simply taking too long with the Demo mod, so I'm putting up "v0" of the hak.

It is now live on The NwVault.

And if something is missing, or done wrong and you don't think I'm on it (believe me, I'm all *over* the Demo ;-), please email me to fix it. If you don't see a really cool screenie you sent me... please send it again :-/ I'm sure I have it... <somewhere...>

Uploaded <finally!> the v1 Demo mod and hak for Rogues & Shadowwalkers.

All opinions, suggestions and concerns are welcome.
Please add bug reports to the comments at the vault so I have something to work off of <and so he can't "forget" ;-P >
And remember that what I was given to work with was amazing. So if there's something less than amazing, I probably messed it up :-P

I hope to have the builder's source files up Wed morning.

Sorry if this is not good place where to ask: aren't there any other placeable traps similar to what six_ presented in this CCC? I think I saw few of them, released earlier, yet I can't find them anywhere. Could someone point me into right direction?

It probably goes without saying but this content is amazing, and a thrill to add to my player world.  

This might only be with me but I am having an issue with the shell game. The shell does not disappear between games which results in a poor illusion or multiple shells on the table. I played wth the script for a little while and it appears that the shell is not returning valid. I dont know if this is a byproduct of the timing or interaction between the placeable table. But perhaps TAD or anyone else could report if this is working for them and or a fix if needed.

When I built the demo for Rogues I did test the shell game a bit.
*a pause while he digs the dusty old mod out*
Hmmm... yes. Sometimes. Not every time, though. Probably needs a 0.1 delay in there somewhere or other. Best guess, without diving in to it :-P
