I have noticed that if you are given multiple quests by one source (Chantry Board, Blackstone Irregulars, the bartender, etc.) and you fulfill two of them before going back, the game marks both quests complete, but only rewards you for one of them.  If you do it separately, you get the gold for both.  I've not checked if it robs you of XP, also.

This is rather irritating as it seems to positively discourage efficiency.  It also means I have to hear Gorim hawk his armor Yet Again.

Not seen that problem before.  If I complete more than one, I just get a bigger chunk of gold.

I've seen that happen on a few select quests... usually they're noted on the Dragon Age Wiki... you might want to check specific plot lines there.

Thanks folks, I'll check the notes. And the next time it happens, I'll track the specific pair of quests involved.
