I knew all of the plot of Star Wars Episode 3 before it was out, was skeptical and wasn't sure if it would be good when I saw it. I saw it, and actually really enjoyed it. Maybe we can hope the same happens for these guys and ME3 lol.

I certainly hope not.

Are you suggesting they go away without hope? That is quite cruel!

I can't recall the exact lines and phrases from ME1. I apologize but there are very little situations in ME1 that are equal to the bullying/random excuse to kill someone like pushing the merc out of the window in ME2 Thane's recruitment mission. If you give me time I can gladly send you the lines/phrases in a pm since this is already going off-topic.

Nah I meant which major renegade decisions in ME2 didn't you like/get?

Agree to disagree then, I just don't see how things like the Rachni, Cerberus and such are going to be fixed simply because it's being shown to me with fanciful music and cutscenes.

And who's fault is this? If you are going into a movie, read a book, or see a play with an idea of how the entire thing is going to be you will not be very entertained. In the end its really your fault.

I don't care about spoilers. Actually, no. That's a lie. I do care, I just spoiled Mass Effect 3 because I was worried at the direction they'd take. It's my fault to be disappointed with how they handled the game because... I found out if I was going to be disappointed?

Yes, it is your fault. You chose to read it. You are also choosing to ASSUME what the final contents will be with an incomplete product. And you are assuming how the game is being handled before the actual release. See here is the thing nothing that you script supporters have said is beyond the realm of assumption since you can't possibly know at this point in time how the final product will be to its fullest extent.

Kindofofftopic: Well we kind of all knew the birth of Darth Vader being there. Are you saying that you knew the entire plot like who died where and how kind of thing?

Oh please, the 18k page file is without a doubt 95-98% of the product we'll be getting come March.

No I mean I knew all of the little stuff. Like the progression of scenes, I knew how grevious died, I even knew the "I HATE YOU!" line. >.>

In almost all the Renegade reactions there is a chance to shot/injure the said person for no reason beyond the whole "he/she looked at me funny" kind of feeling in ME2 in ME1 this is not true and Shepard had several situations where you can still have a paragon like ending with a renegade response (meaning no one dying or even getting hurt).

Oh please, you people are such killjoys with nothing better to do than waste your time making others feel bad or look stupid. If you are so sure on how everything is going to be delievered in all forms of context why are you here? We understand that you don't like the said product but saying its bad without any form of input on how they can improve upon it and just posting or saying "leak script is law" is not helping anyone or anything. All you are doing is just ruining the story for the rest of the people who still actually care for the game.

They are, the Reapers decided to make new Rachni out of sticks and glue.

No.  The Reapers genetically engineer Rachni Husks, not new Rachni ("synthetic substitute" is how it is described.)  This makes sense to me as the Reapers have been shown to be masters of genetic manipulation since the first game and they are also revealed to have been behind the Rachni wars, so they obviously know their value as shock troops.

And just like how these people are just saying "LEAKED SCRIPT!!" I can counter and say "LOL PLAIN TEXT NO CONTEXT". It is an endless cycle until the actual game's release. Its their own fault for reading the damn thing and their own fault for assuming everything before its completion.

You can't and in all honesty neither can the supporters of game since the game is not complete/released.

Firstly, we've posted more than enough input on how the game could be improved... or how it can be a decent enough Shooter/RPG with the promised proper choice/consequence. Secondly, I fail to see how we are the ones ruining the story.

This exactly.

How the hell can you say it's a reader's fault for some developers screwing over an entire section of a game in the sequel? I don't even know how you can defend that... How can anyone actually defend the devs on that topic? What, just because you didn't try going renegade/Cerberus, and because being paragon is the better choice? That doesn't excuse it at all.

Cerberus had their reasons in 2, and although I did not agree with them personally, I can see how some people can and would side with them. It's perfectly reasonable to get angry at developers (who made the decisions on how to execute Cerberus and renegade options in 3) for turning two big and interesting elements of a previous installment into two-dimensional story points that you would see in some stupid 50s kids radio show.

I didn't think Mass Effect was about Cerberus, I thought it was about Shepard doing what he can to stop the reapers...Right?

Until the writers made the entire third script about Cerberus and tied everything from ME1 and ME2 to them.

Or do I still need to play the game to see how stupid that is?

Ruining the story for yourself for one thing since that is what spoilers do. Ruining it for other people by constantly bringing the damn script up and saying it is LAW basically when you have noting but unofficial/unconfirmed text to support yourself with. Reading a book back to front is never a fun experience for anybody. I can give even more reasons but this is getting offtopic and I can continue in a pm if you like.

But in the end you don't know this is 100% correct or not. You are just assuming it is a 100% real and you have no idea how it will be presented except beyond text.

Enjoy it, I don't really care. Last time I checked, your personal enjoyment wasn't something that worried me. I'm saying the game's script is poor in quality, you can still enjoy it if you want. I'm not saying you're all idiots for liking it.
