One can support their desires for human independance and preservation in an alien dominated galaxy.
One can support their desire to overthrow the oppressive Council race hegemony in favour of a galaxy that supports our interests.
One can see them as a valuable ally in the coming Reaper invasion.

It's not that hard to fathom.

But doesn't several of the endings in the leaked script allow you to fulfill the wishes of TIM's plan?
Besides for the third point, I don't see how the leaked beta takes a dump at pro-Cerberus players.

A pro-human ending IS still possible. The lack of Cerberus support doesn't change that,. :)

Yeah, which makes fighting Cerberus that whole time a complete waste of time and counterproductive for a pro-Cerberus renshep.

I guess it was an unrealistic for me to believe Bioware would handle choices with a sense of moral greyness and not give into fan pandering.

After all the Cerberus dick-bouncing, I don't care. They're getting exactly what they deserve.

I'm curious as to how someone can actually SUPPORT Cerberus, knowing how they operate.

TIM was my femshep's sugar daddy throughout ME2 providing her with a luxury frigate complete with her own personal doctor and chef. He won her over needless to say. <3

The chef cooked lousy food though.

Not after my femshep did grocery shopping.

I know right?  Bioware should've just used their unlimited resources and stock piles of cash they were originally gonna burn to make ME3 how you want it..... oh wait.

Exactly. Bioware's resources a finite and they decided to spend them on more important things like more romance options.

....

Crappy romances that consist of a few brief conversations and a one minute dry humping scene are very integral to the ME experience.

If that dry humping involved TIM and FemShep I bet you'd feel more positive.

Your femShep sucks tbh.

But if TIM gave your FemShep everything she wanted, surely he should've stocked better food on the ship?

I think there is some genuine concern over this after ME2's lack of consequence and weak story, and from Bioware's apparent focus on combat and making sure that, and I'm paraphrasing here, "Mass Effect 3 is the best place to start for players new to the franchise." Furthermore, some of David Silverman's comments definitely rubbed some people the wrong way.

I loved Mass Effect 2.

Don't get me wong, ME2 is a fun game, but it's basically a 40+ hour side mission. LotSB and Arrival have more to do with the reaper story than the main ME2 plot does. That's what I mean by weak

From sdcript Cerberus looked like whole new race ,capable of planetary assaults, star system invasions and I would not be surprised if they would field million-strong armies on the retail -_-

He has to budget himself, he's already spending lots of cash on her.

Most sequels in a trilogy tends to be glorified padding that just introduces more things instead of advancing the plot.

Yeah, Cerberus went from being a small organization that was nearly bankrupted by the SR-2 and Lazarus(ME2) to being nearly wiped out and needing Aria to do their dirty work(Retribution) to now having space fleets, atlas mechs and legions of well equipped commandos? It's ridiculous.

I've read the spoilers. I'm not upset in the slighest.

Inflated expectation is what usually causes people to scream. After I saw ME2 and DA to I realized how they were doing cross game consequences and I stopped expecting completely unique levels and conflicts due to it.

Honestly, there was way too many variables after the two games to merit the full range of consequences some people were expecting here. And a lot of the 'it doesn't matter' issues actually make sense.

Again, the transcript was very incomplete, with some consequences of the final choices blurry or simply not there at all.

Those who are complaining or are upset by this were probably never going to be happy no matter what was released. Some people chose to live miserable lives.

I mean no offense to anyone, but from what I've seen since the leak (which I didn't read), it looks like mainly the Cerberus supporters/Renegades are largely unhappy about it. Others seem pretty cool with it, and some are even excited.

I disagree. While Cerberus supporters are vocally unhappy about a key part of it, that's hardly the only field of complaint.

The point is people shouldn't know the leaked script to begin with. For once, it's too late to change the game in a way that would matter so short from release. Also it may be old. And people who just read the script are probably like those who read a walkthrough and judge the game on that. You have to play it.

Sadly:
Muzyka said the writing team working on the game were saddened by the leak. "It was disappointing for them, yeah. They're moving on. They're making a great game. The script, frankly, has changed a little bit from what was released, too. It's been edited. They're always tuning it. They're always making it better. But yeah, it's tough when you see your work displayed. You realize only a small number of people are probably going to look at those spoilers in advance."
Well, maybe there's still a hope and Like in terminator: Salvation they'll change the script due to the fact of leak.

Well to be fair Cerberus has a s***-ton of resources as they have many fronts which they get their funds from (I think that even "Galaxy of Fantasy" was desgined by a cerberus front company) and also they could have made armies, fleets, atlas mechs and legions of well equipped in commandoes in secret locations around the galaxy (Well the armies of commandos at least and possibly atlas mechs if pushing it)

Thats the one thing that has me a bit miffed as well (Maybe TIM found the Kotor Starforge).
