People on the BSN are generally in the habit of wildly speculating based on minimal information. In this case, the leaked script and demo just makes it a hundred times worse than it normally is. Those who read the leaked script believe that they know everything and are convinced that what was in the script is set in stone. Either they're right, or they're not. Rather than join in the frenzy (as I don't want more spoilers than the one I accidentally read earlier), I'm just going to wait for the game release and reviews to find out for myself. If they don't come through in the finale, it's going to be a bit of a disappointment.

Have you read the script? It isn't exactley "minimal". And most of the stuff the people are complaining about isn't open to interpritiation.

Muzyka said the writing team working on the game were saddened by the leak. "It was disappointing for them, yeah. They're moving on. They're making a great game. The script, frankly, has changed a little bit from what was released, too.

Script is more than just a plain text. So, basically, it leaked last month. Three months till release means 2 months till game goes gold. Do you really think BioWare can do tremendous changes during such a short time? rewrite entire portions of plot?

And beyond the script you have next to nothing of how much content there is or will be. People need to stop judging before its official release. Hell I bet not even 1/3 of the people posting in this thread have even touched a demo of this game.

This. Unless they pushed the game back not much will change. The earliest version probably will, but the later ones probably won't. Stuff could get cut out very easily though.

I'm dissapointed by the script. The writing in it is bad, very bad..and anvilicious.

I see it going itno DA2 territory at maximum speed. Now, poeple are free to dimiss the script as "outdated", but prior experience wiht such leaks does not support them.

No it is just plain text. Words= text. Considering that the player will have the choice of where to go and in what order he/she wants to do things to also goes against your post.

If you don't mind spoilers read on.

The Rachni being in ME3 regardless of what you did on Noveria is not open to interpritation. They might as well lay out canon choices for ME.

Well of course you are sad. If most people read a script of a movie or rough draft of a book/play script before their release it is obvious that things are going to be assumed and taken out of context.

That could have already been changed and you don't know this. Once again nothing you have said is solid fact or proof. You have nothing to support yourself with except for assumptions and plain text.

I didn't say the script was minimal, did I? I said that people here are in the habit of speculating based on minimal information and that the leaked script makes this kind of behavior worse. Let me point out that this does not even remotely equate to me implying that the script was a two-page outline. Do read more carefully. As for what's in the script? I haven't read it, and I rather thought that my saying that I wanted to avoid spoilers and wish to wait for the game's release, etc. made that obvious.

Because the lacking of context is basically the only true arguement that there is. You only have text which isn't written in any form except as a means of showing what they have done so far. Its like reading a movie script and assuming its going to be bad without seeing the movie itself.

Again, lol fanboys.

Again, lol troll. I don't understand if all you guys who go by the script fully and are disapointed with what you read/spoiled yourselves with and speak ill of a game that is not even out yet, that you have no idea what is even going to be really in it as of it yet with so little official info that has been shown, why are you even here posting? You guys seem to not even support this game so why post here?

I just don't understand how you guys can ASSUME so much from just plain text that is not even written as a true script. Hell if I knew about the ending to Batman Arkham City and how Joker's scheme worked before I even saw/played any of the game or even played I would think it would have been pretty dumb too but it ended being one of the best games for 2011.

I disagree. While Cerberus supporters are vocally unhappy about a key part of it, that's hardly the only field of complaint.

I don't know, Dean. There seems to be a pretty obvious corellation between Cerberus supports/morals/beliefs and level vocality/complaints, even if the subject is irrelevant to Cerberus.

Image IPB

That said, I am pretty happy that we'll have Cerberus and TIM as an antagonist. They were set to be that way since the ending ME2 (especially after keeping the base and noticing the pretty obvious foreshadowing), and I was worried that we wouldn't have a human enough enemy to fight. Fighting mindless husks can get rather boring, fast.

If someone has actually kept up with the info of ME3 and is still disappointed, I don't think that they should invest in the product at all. The demo will allow the consumers to see if the gameplay is up to par. For choices, consequences, story and whatnot, we'll have to wait for the reviews before getting swept up by the hype, or just adapting an overly pessimistic stance.

Actually, what is your problem with Genshie's argument?

I can attest that the script of "A Christmas Carol" doesn't come close to matching the quality of the actual play. That's because you are attempting to access a completely different medium with incompatible methods.

It's very comical to see the blood brotherhood irk Phaedon so much that he does a whole collage of us. LOL

Say Phae, was it your three sources that told you there's going to be a radical difference between the script and the main game? ;)

That's not a real collage. That's everything I could find in the first couple of pages of General Discussion. I'd love to actually have Kaiser's rant about him being superior to us, both in intelligence and morality, honestly.

 blood brotherhood

I am a bit unsure if whether the FBI or Thomas Harris should be the ones to know about this first.

Say Phae, was it your three sources that told you there's going to be a radical difference between the script and the main game? ;)

Actually, would you mind, my dear sir, to provide a source of me making that claim?

I can however, tell you, that Brennon Holmes said, at the time that the E3 demo was showcased, that they had already fixed the animations to have Anderson and Shepard aim their weapons to the ground. That was not present in the beta leak, however. You can draw your own conclusions from that.

This poster is clearly making a great contribution to the community with his insight! Why, it's almost like receiving words of wisdom directly from an ancient oracle! I look forward to more such nuggets, perhaps a "lol u mad bro" or something to that effect might be in our immediate future!

Like I said earlier these people who support the leak script and ASSUME that the game is going to be bad off of something that isn't even official are just trolls who are not providing any useful input. There is no point to their purpose of their post besides ***ing and complaining about incomplete product.
Kindofofftopic: These people are the type who look into other people's closets to see what gifts they will be getting for xmas/their b-days. These people are also the type of people who scream "SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE".
