Good point iOnly. What is a cutscene?

As for the 5% part, it seems like very little, however I would assume (yes, I know), that the cutscenes convey important parts (if not the majority) of the storyline. Thus, the bulk of the STORY is being told through cinema, not in game experiences (see Zelda SS, Portal II, Bioshock and others I'm sure)!

That's my grievance. If BW is known for telling a story, that is the most important part of ME3 in many people's eyes. Cutscenes, for lack of better word, can be labelled the lazy way of accomplishing that. I recognize, though, that cutscenes are an industry standard. I'm relunctantly accepting.

Huh? Much of the story is conveyed through dialogue, which is done through the conversation system. That is a game experience.

One need only compare the ME conversation system to a JRPG. It looks positively revolutionary in that regards.

It always stuns me that people are so against cutscenes. I have NEVER seen a game communicate a story better without cutscenes. Actually, I generally don't enjoy games that try to never use them, because they just seem minimalistic and lazy.

I agree with this. There's a few games that works quite well witout cutscenes, but well... not a whole lot. I really like cutscenes.
