Anyone else weirded out by the idea that Liara will live to be 1,000 and Shep will only get to 90... (Reason I went with Ash)

What if she never 're-marries' or sleeps with anyone else after Shepard dies?

Think the Liaramancers would like that.

That would be absurdly retarded.

Whats your concern OP? You think Liara might cheat on you or something?

I don't think it's reasonable to expect her to remain chaste for 700+ years.

A girl has her needs and we all know that Asari have no standards to speak of.

So who's your femshep going to find after she's forced to murder TIM?  Just curious.

She'd kill herself before she'd do that.

Statistically women live longer than men anyways... so, who cares?

True but 10 and 800 years are a big difference.  I actually prefer to go first but not when the other person still has 80% of their life left!

I guess Shepard is like Liara's 'teen' love interest.  Somebody that she (like many teens, rather naively) thinks is the true one and only love of her life, until she hits the equivalent of 20 or so years old in Asari years...

How about this:

Liara will not take any lovers until, two hundred years later, Shepard's long-lost great grandchild comes of age to save the galaxy.

At which point Liara will be a love interest.

Wouldn't Shepard's descendant be an asari, though? Asari don't go through generations that fast.

It's not cheating because Shep will be dead... really makes me uneasy though, Shep can't go through life knowing for a fact thats going to happen, what kind of romance is that?

An incestuous alien lesbian love affair....

The only thing penetrating her would be her seppuku blade.

Shepard had enough cyborg parts installed to raise him/her from the dead (and restore them to better than they were predeath seeing as Shepard has much higher toxin resistance and super human strength following the process) after suffocating and falling onto the surface of a planet from orbit. The human lifespan may no longer apply. Shepard could wind up outliving Liara, for all we know.

It could be that one time with that tramp, who Shepard never talked to again. I never said it would be Shepard and Liara's child, after all...

Though in that case, it might just be Liara's daughter.

Well, given how she couldn't let go of Shepard the first time, I'm not sure how much 'till Death Do We Part' matters to Liara.

Ooh, new one.

Liara will keep Shepard's 'love bone'.

Yeah, Liara with her own daughter was exactly what came to my mind from your first post. Little creepy, that.

Well if thats your deepest concern I understand. But remember you may think this is bull but, Liara believes in pseudo-religion she believes if you ask her that their partner continues to be with them long after they have died. And lets not forget that she believes in reincarnation or something like that.
