What if she never 're-marries' or sleeps with anyone else after Shepard dies?

Think the Liaramancers would like that.

I think it's rather traumatic to look how the person you love gets old and eventually dies while you're still young and not showing any negative signs of aging.

But it might be normal for asari psychology.

I think Shepard is going to outlive most of his human companions, anyway.

He's part machine, after all.

It can be quite the opposite as well.

His/hers body might start to reject those machine parts when started to be old.

Plus, Miranda can live twice as longer then any human, so good luck in beating her in lifespan Shepard.
Oh and no cheating Shepard. Which means don't kill her or get her killed.

We don't even know if they both will outlive ME3.

It is just as traumatic as looking in the mirror every day and notice how you age. Some people deal with it better, some worse (see: plastic surgery). Honestly, if you see someone every day you probably don't even notice, unless you look at old pictures or something.

She'll be thinking of Shepard though.

"I slept with this other guy but the whole time I was thinking of you." Oh that makes it so much better. Now I have a warm feeling in my belly knowing that you were thinking of how much fun it would be to betray me! What were you thinking you CHEAT!!!!!!! That's what you are!

Okay enough with the silliness, I'm not at all weirded out by that prospect. That's not even a consideration. Liara is one of the most interesting female characters in the Mass Effect Universe. Being not only her first ever romance, but being good enough to gain her affections, makes the word "honour" the bigest understatement of the year.

The only thing I'm weirded out by is the fact she's a video game character and not real. Since real life relationships are almost impossible to obtain, I guess fictional alien that lives 1000 years will have to do :alien:.

you're not doing it right, on topic the Asari would be the worst partners, on illium you overhear two Asari talking about how dating a krogan is a bad idea because you can't just outlive them... that was a pretty big WTF for mass effect universe, Asari are nothing but strippers and thats why we'll have so much trouble with the Reapers.

Could you imagine a world where the greatest human minds are still around to work together? Einstein and Hawking for example, Asari are a species of fanservice table/pole dancers.

Actually he's getting weaker, ME2 biotic shep did not become stronger than he was in ME1 infact he went backwards in abilities and the power of them... even with state of the art implants and a completely rebuilt body, Shep will be a dissappointment as far as RPG characters go.

Mirand actually said she's likely to live half again as long as a normal human. Now I don't know if human's just normally live longer in MEverse, but if not, that'd put her right around the same 150 years Shep expects to live(if he survives the war).

I disagree with both of these, for me Shepard is not a disappointment as an RPG character and he/she is stronger in ME 2 than the first game.

We all know Liara will use the Lazarus project to bring him back and probablymake him at least 50 years younger.

Shepard; Liara, why'd you bring me back?

Shepard may get to 150.
What I think is weird is that little miss 'twoo wuv' Liara is going to be screwing an elcor or something later in her life.

That must be an uncomfortable thought for the humble Liaramancer.

But Shep will be dead long before then and, thus, won't have to concern himself with it.

Woah-ho, I totally missed this scene! I'm guessing you're referring to biotic lift? *Now wants to play an adept*
I think that was a gameplay decision/change, though, as there was only one geth colossus in ME2's story(DLC?), but numerous colossi in ME1

Actually, Shep states he/she'll be lucky to see 150.

At any rate, I do like Liara as a romantic interest and wasn't 'weirded out' by the age differences after speaking with Liara about it with my cannon fem-shep. Quite the contrary, actually.

For Asari, it is a major physiological and Psychological difference between species. She is also unlike the average Asari and has sought study over adventure and such, and will probably short-span her matron stage years as well her maiden stage years.

Such things are discussed by Samara in ME 2.

Liara will outlive Shepard. However, Liara can go on to say that one of her bondmates was the famed Hero of the Battle of the Citadel and the Reaper Slayer. She'll be riding the high life for the next 9 centuries if she survives the Reaper War.

Why is everyone here assuming that Shep will live past the end of ME3?

Furthermore, why does almost everyone here care about what their friends/loved ones do after they're dead?

OP you are... *Removed by Moderator: avoid the name calling*

Think for a minute dude. In about fifty years. When Shepard will be 90. Everyone will be all saggy as crap.

Ashley, Miranda, Tali and Jack you can deny all you want but age will catch up and they all turn to saggy socks.

But Liara will always be as perky as ever. And Shepard can still have awesome mindsex even as a 150 yr old geezer.

How awesome is that Shepard can die feeling the same hot body from the woman he loves. The same feeling as he felt from the day he had sex with her.

Yes, Liaramancers are the luckiest.
That kind of perk is priceless.
