For the same reason the majority of the ME2 DLC armors weren't customizable.

DLC armor pieces are.

Kestrel was, everything else wasn't. But yeah, this is apples and oranges, and 2 years later, to not being able to have weapon mods is just silly.

And if so, fine, I'm still pre-ordering it, and I'll get some nice armor as well.

but every gun in ME2 including DLC guns will be available in ME3 by default so wtf?

Wait, can you actually get those for the PC now? I didn't buy ME2 until like almost a year after release so I never got a chance to use those.

not if you time it right, friend. It basically sucks in the enemies and then blows them outwards; that's pretty cool and useful if you ask me. I know it worked like a charm against the husks in the Reaper level.

you can be assured you'll at least get the Argus as that is available across the board. (or at least that is what I gathered from the FAQ)

I'm just amazed at how similar the Valkyrie and Argus Rifle seem to be. And how those two, the falcon, and the mattock all look similar.

I was hoping they would... as an incentive to buy the game brand new.  Those who don't pre-order should still have an incentive to buy the game new... you'd think... (that's what they did in ME2 with Zaeed/Cerberus Network)

There's a thread about this and it seems you have to buy the CE if you want the bonus character. I personally think its worth it - it seems a very interesting character, and you get a fair bit besides that.

It's excellent collector's gear... but $20 is too much for just a bonus char/mission... especially if it turns out to only be made for the first batch of buyers...

Bonus Char/Mission is all I want... the most complete possible story/ending that they can offer.

If DA is anything to go by, the CE character will be available as a Day One purchase. Remember Stone Prisoner (Origins) and Exiled Prince (DA 2)?

IDK if nobody has noticed, or if everyone has and it's not worth noting  Just read through the last few posts and everyone seems to have noticed it by now, the Mattock, Argus, and Raider all do have some similarities, so this possibly means that weapon lines from certain manufacturers will be making a return, albeit not with the sophistication system.

I'm not pre-ordering jack **** until i can do it on Steam. Still boycotting BF3 to honest. I'm not buying into any of EA's Origin-only BS. My money will sit snug in my wallet unless EA decide to stop being d***s.

noooooo I used it on my Insanity playthrough and it actually was pretty decent. Just have to place it in the middle of the group.

It was ok against husks. Not real effective against one or two powerful enemies though. The woorst was when I was low on ammo and the black hole would go past the target to the horizon. Stupid...
