As long as you specified what console you ordered for at the time of the pre-order, and when you go to pick up the game, they will have it on file because they record pre-orders so people don't waltz in and say "yo I pre-ordered game xxx a while ago I paid $50 down here's $10." that would be terrible. So GameStop records the pre-orders on their computer system and can look them up by telephone number, which I am sure you were asked for at the time

I pre-ordered Ace Combat: Assault Horizon for Xbox 360 at GameStop, had the same situation (nowhere did it say 'Xbox 360' on my receipt), and it worked out well.

Thanks.  I remember saying at the time of my preorder that I wanted it for 360, but since the guy working there wasnt someone I usually do business with at Gamestop (I pop into GS a lot since its next to Target in my town so most of the staff there knows me) I may call to double check sometime this week.  Plus I did use my PUR card so they should be able to see that on file too.  Thanks again mate!

If you order it for the 360 or PS3, yes: you won't have to install Origin.

That would require me to buy an outdated, un-updatable, locked-configuration, gimped-out, single-purpose computer, for the sole reason of playing a single video-game.

Any idea if the pre-order perks will be delivered across all platforms like in previous games?  If I preorder for the PS3, but the code unlocks the pre-order perks for the 360 and PC as well?

Owning multiple copies is blehky, but I'm not too against the idea of owning it on different platforms.

yes, they carry across all platforms, just like the ME2 and DAII ones.

GameStop  customers get the N7 Warfare Gear including the N7 Valkyrie assault rifle.

Everyone who pre-orders from any retailer gets the M55 Argus assault rifle (so Gamestop customers who pre-order get this and the N7 warfare gear).

Origin pre-order customers get the AT12 Raider shotgun and the M55 Argus assault rifle (as all pre-orders get the Argus).

As I said, when we have more retailers confirmed we will update and let you know. I hope this helps.

I'm sure that either the armor and rifle will turn up as DLC, or that it won't have much of an overall effect on gameplay.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm not paying another penny for any future Bioware products. I own CE versions of DA/DA2, ME/ME2, and now ME3, and I am tired of getting jacked over because of stupid marketing practices and over priced 30-hour-content games. They have already got my last $80.

While your planned boycott is cute and all, it kinda rings hollow considering a decent number of games that are out do this exact thing (some even worse like Assassin's Creed) and the number is only increasing; rapidly. Oh and its more a publisher choice than a developer studio choice, so direct your outrage appropriately...

Way dont you just cancel your pre-order with Origin and pre-order at gamestop.com or at = Amazon - Germany.

EB Games - Canada.

GameStop - Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, United States.

GAME - Australia, France, United Kingdom.

To be honest I get annoyed with all the different Pre-Order Bonuses. I think that it gets annoying for the Customers who now have to decide where they're going to buy the game depending on what they'll get as a pre-order. I my opinion they should all be included in one big pre-order package. Furthermore, I feel it's also not fair to other stores selling this game that don't have as great of pre-order bonuses unlike Gamestop.

The N7 wargear I think should have been included in the Collector's Edition since it so clearly belongs with it.
