I preordered the Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector's Edition off Amazon Canada. Not sure what preorder bonus it'll come with, if any, but I'm sure I'll be very happy regardless.

It could be. My receipt says "Mass Effect 3 CE". You might want to go back and double check they reserved the right copy.

I had that too so I called my Gamestop to double check that I'm in their system as having a 360 copy preordered.  I suggest you do the same to be prepared.  Nothing worse than walking in there at launch and them having the wrong platform for you

 As of now, you get the rifle that all pre-orders get. (Argus rifle)

Tis rather strange that Amazon only gets the Rifle that both of the others get. Will it be possible to attain the armor any other way if I'm in the US? My Gamestop's full of jerks and I'm only able to afford this game due to an Amazon Gift Card I won in a drawing. Bills soak up my disposable income.

Going by gamestop.com, 270920 is the PS3 N7 Edition so it looks like you have the correct one.

Xbox360 gives an error when trying to add to cart. Sounds like they really are out of the 360 version. I preordered for the PC in store jan 14th, and they said they were only taking PC and PS3 orders for the collectors edition. If any of you want it you better hurry and get it

That may actually be the collector's edition strategy guide. When you put in Mass Effect 3 in the cash register computer, like a billion returns come up. The N7 Collector's Editon of the game is referred to on the reciept as 'MASS EFFECT 3 N7"
I also pre-ordered the collector's edition strategy guide, which is referred to on the recipt as 'MASS EFFECT 3 CE"
You might want to get that checked out before it's too late.

Seriously. What retailer is this for, Gamestop/EB Games? I preordered mine somtime ago now and my receipt says 'MASSEFF 3 CE 360K'. I trust my gamestop and can't imagine that I just preordered a Collector's edition guide. The receipt does have 360 at the end; I know game guides don't have console bias within them so I still feel confident that despite the preorder I made, differing from yours, is properly done. To conclude I think different areas have different sytems or different times of order give us different preorder names on receipts.

That pre-order bonus all eu people defo should order from Mightyape now, because this is proof that wherever you live in the world, you will get the bonus , unlike GAME which restricts the bonus to UK customers only! -.-.

My guess is that it could be a regional thing - I'm sure that I preordered the PC version, and it only says "Mass Effect 3 CE".

Thanks for the heads up but I'm pretty sure I have the right one. I always pay my preorders in full and the amount I paid matches the N7 Collector's edition perfectly. Might just be a region/platform thing as Yuoaman mentioned. For future reference for those interested, mine says "MASS EFFECT 3 CE" for EBGames/Gamestop Canada, PC version.

I also paid in full, and unless they're printing the strategy guide on GOLD FOIL I'm pretty sure that isn't the case. And I can verify that syntax for Canadian EB Games'.
