While I am not a big fan of store exclusives, I think people are acting irrational whining about not getting every gun. None of this exclusive stuff is gamebreaking or changing. They are just gun and armor skins. Not story, not characters, etc.

And, if you are buying multiple copies just to get an extra gun, you do have too much expendable income! LOL!  But, my hats off to your "geek" buying power!

Retailer exclusive stuff needs to stop, so extremely annoying. It's things like these that make me lose fun in one of my favourite hobbies.

Btw, could we, by any chance, get some statement on Origin requirement? It's great that I now know what extra stuff I'd be missing due to buying from the wrong shop, but I'd prefer to know wether I'm going to buy the game at all.

Lose fun in a hobby due to retail exclusive bonuses? Wouldn't you be happier just... you know, not worrying about it at all then? After an hour of gameplay, you won't even notice anything was 'missing'.  I don't mean to come off angry, I'm just wondering why this is such a big deal to people? It's not like the people buying are going to shove it in your face with "I'm better than you!" or that you are missing out on some future Antiques Roadshow riches.

I don't get the brouhaha over pre-order bonuses. Sellers are allowed to create incentives for customers to buy their products. If some of those incentives are exclusive, it's ultimately their choice. If you really really want them and the content due date has "passed" so to speak, 99% of the time you can get them other ways.

Because these items are part of the game and many people feel like the game they will purchase will not be 100% cvomplete? This retailer/bonus/pe-order eexclusive trend is ridiculous, this generation is just...

You couldn't with ME2. Unless paying $20 for Terminus Gear on eBay is your idea of "great way of getting it!"

After all, 'those people' can get everything whereas the paying public are forced to purchase three separate copies if they want to be able to access all of the content.

Whatever happened to rewarding loyal customers instead of punishing them for wanting everything that the game offers? The Amazon offer seems the best: a $10 coupon for your next purchase at that specific retailer. That way you are not only rewarded for buying the game, you're given a reward that you can use and doesn't force anyone else to buy multiple copies just to get all of the content. Anyone that dislikes a particular retailer isn't being coerced into purchasing from them and they still get their reward.

Using the fans' enjoyment of your product as a bargaining chip to get into bed with specific game stores seems pretty despicable to me.

You'd feel differently if you were on the other side of the tracks.

Dear Chris, bioware, you guys are locking a lot of topics and asking people to use this topic to ask questions about DLC. But atm your not helping the situation. you are creating a massive topic with a lot of people in darkness having a X amount of questions that you don't reply on and just leave them and let them solve by other community members that don''t know everything also.

Retailers do NOT design in-game items so it's ALWAYS the publisher / developer who's responsible for this nonsense.

AFAIK it's impossible to get the Blackstorm if you didn't bought the "right" package from the get go (if you know a way please share).

I didn't pre-order my copy from Gamestop because their prices and services sucks compared to other stores. Instead of improving it and actually strive for their customers' will to buy more products there in the future, they're going the lazy way by making sure that you can't get specific game items anywhere else and are just playing with the minds of those who want all those DLCs.
