I preordered the day ME3 got available for preorder, now I could just as well cancel it and preorder with gamestop. Great, just great. Gues this is the last bioware/ea game for me, Im sick of this.

Complain to whoever you preorder with and tell them they're going to lose business if they don't start having preorder DLC in the future.

What if I pre-order Mass Effect 3 at GameStop to get the N7 Warfare Gear, and then pre-order Mass Effect 3 from Origin to get the AT12 Raider shotgun, will something mess up my game seeing that the GameStop bonus also has the M55 Argus Assault Rifle, or does the AT12 Raider shotgun come with GameStops N7 Warfare Gear when you pre-order?

The AT-12 Raider shotgun is exclusive to Origin. It doesn't come with the N7 Warfare Gear (nor is it included in the N7 Warfare Gear).

I can answer this part, accounrding to the GameStop website it does not come with the shotgun.

Just preordered at Gamestop. Unfortunately, they don't appear to deliver on the day of release like Amazon does. I'll wait for that armor.

If you buy both copies, you should be able to apply the code for the AT12 to your Bioware/EA account, download it, install it, and carry it alongside your M55.

Does anyone know if Mass Effect 3 will ever be available for pre-order over Steam? I have ME 1 and 2 on Steam and I obviously want to continue with my Shepard but I'm afraid Origin wouldn't let me do that for obvious reasons. Thanks.

As of now there's no info on that and as the release becomes imminent it seems Steam will not have Mass Effect 3 at launch.....perhaps later if ever. As for evading Origin a few solutions have been presented but frankly what are the chances EA won't update Origin to resist those workarounds and continue stealing all your personal info?

So it seems the only true choices of avoiding Origin are to wait on a likely late Steam release or to switch to the 360 and I say 360 because the PS3 has no way of bringing your PC saves to it or most of the ME1 choices unlike the 360 to which you can port your PC saves and account for all your ME1 choices.

Yeah that's the second most ridiculous thing posted right after "Do I get all this if I preordered the N7 CE edition?"

Just how does one's mind jump to such nonsense conclusions is beyond me.

The only thing exclusive to the omniblade edition is an inflatable piece of plastic that might entertain a two year old. I'd mention the tin box but that doesn't even really count.....it doesn't even have a different or special box art compared to the regular edition and the N7 CE has a tin box with much cooler art on it.

Thats the point, GameStop gets all, Origin some and everyone else (i.e. Amazon) only the Argus. This is not acceptable.

Im not going to buy (pre-order) at GameStop because of some dubious deals. Though not 100% viable, pre-ordering is something quite usefull for a company. Upon using statistics the company get to know how many sales they get definitely and most likely. This knowledge is not to underestimate and very VERY useful. The sooner someone pre-orders, the better for the company AND, most people who cancel an early pre-order tell the company why they did so.

I dont let them force me to buy at GameStop (always got problems with this company in the past), either I will stop pre-ordering or buying bioware/ea products at all. I dont see a valid reason why bioware/ea should make such exclusive deals with just one reseller, I dont say there is none, I just dont see one yet.
