GAME's webteam haven't updated the Mass Effect 3 pages on their site to reflect the bonuses. However, they have confirmed that they will be doing the N7 Warfare Pack.

Hmm.... a possibility... I had gift cards from the holidays I wanted to use to cover the purchase, but I can't use them online (mall gift card, not GS).  It's hard to justify an $85 (tax) video game purchase in cash... 

The collecters edition is still avalable for pre-order at Walmart, Bestbuy, Target, and Amazon.com.

Right, this was my original question.  I can get the CE bonuses from Amazon, etc, OR I could still go to GS and pre-order the standard edition and only get the GS bonuses.  I was curious if it came down to one or the other, which ones were better?  I was more interested in the CE for the in game bonuses rather than the patch, book, etc.

I feel you on that.  But two games from last year have now released their pre-order DLCs to everyone for free to download.  DICE released their GameStop exclusive for Battlefield 3 and Now Insomiac has released their pre-order exclusives for Resistance 3 to everyone as well.  While I do not expect the pre-order bonuses for ME3 to be free to download like they were for these other two games, I am hoping they will release all pre-order exclusives as at least paid DLC, giving those who didn't pre-order a chance to get the items if they want them.

You cannot import a "dead" Shepard save into Mass Effect 3. You will either have to start over and ensure his survival, or create a new "canon" Shepard for Mass Effect 3.

It was announced months ago that a dead Shepard cannot be imported.

For those in the UK, GAME have dropped the price of the CE to £59.99 from £69.99

PC Version only, 360 and PS3 are still £69.99

Dont know who told you that, But you should always look for yourself.(Especially if it was a gamestop employee as they tend to know nothing and just make up what ever answer they feel like) They are still taking pre-orders for all versions, online.

They are no longer taking pre-orders. Guess I'll have to stick with my origin CE version with the rifle and shotgun. Kinda bummed.

I asked GAME directly, and they have confirmed they will be carrying the N7 Warfare Gear. Their web team simply hasn't updated the Mass Effect 3 pages on their site to reflect this. I imagine they're waiting for BioWare to come out and say it.

Perhaps there's a solution to this:
1) Keep the pre-order with Origin for the CE.

2) Find a buddy who wants ME3 standard edition, and doesn't care about pre-order DLC. Offer to sell him a standard edition of the game for 40 or 45 dollars, no tax. Obviously your buddy and you have to be playing on the very same gaming platform.

3) Pre-order the regular edition from GameStop, so that you still get the GameStop exclusives.

4) Upon release, sell the standard edition to your buddy for previously arranged, reduced cost, but you *keep* the Gamestop pre-order codes that are given to you when you pick up this copy.

This alternate way would allow you to control exactly what you're paying for the extra crap without resorting to having an extra copy to do nothing with. And, you don't have to deal with Ebay vulture vermin.

I had a question about the "M55 Argus Assault Rifle", the faq says it's available to anyone that preorders the game. I was wondering if Newegg's CE of the game is partaking in this Item.

After being told by one of the typical counter jockeys at Gamestop that they'd sold out of CEs a while ago, I went to a friend's house and ordered one from their web site. When I was completing the order there was a message that said I would be e-mailed the code for the preorder DLC in the next couple business days. It's been more than a couple business days, still no e-mail.

Has anyone else run into this? Or did I just read the message wrong and the preorder DLC will come when the game ships?
