as far as i can tell the bonus squadmate seems CE exclusive. this seems likely as orgin doe not mention the DD having the bonus misson.however it is odd that the DD has everything else the CE has (in digital form) but not the extra squadmate

dont worry all CE and the DDE have the xtra squad mate and mission....Its not on the list for some reason but you will get it.

The way I see it is simple -

As Soriah has pointed out - the Mass effect official site (when you select UK as the country) says that the N7 gear is a preorder exclusive for game.

I've dropped £70 of my hard earned cash based on what Bioware/EA have told me. If this turns out to be incorrect... no worries. I will send my proof of purchase to bioware/EA and they will give me the DLC that THEY have promised me as a UK buyer ordering from GAME.

I'm getting that pre order stuff either way

perhaps if we all email sites like IGN they can get to the bottom of it for us?

Honestly, GAME has really dropped the ball with this - they've sent out a bunch of mixed messages, sometimes confirming DLC, sometimes stating there is no information. It's been a long time now, and they're not responding to the situation, which is very unusual for them, because they're normally very responsive - quite disappointing really.

it is true i have had some emails that imply they are the dlc providor although other almost seem to catorgorical deny them as the providor. very confusing  and i can't even cancel my CE as no where else in the uk does CE and game has no more left for the 360

if it was a deal that fell through, they shouldnt have posted it prematurely. They have confirmed that if you purchase if from game you will get the DLC.

I dont care if it comes from game, or from EA/Bioware - if I dont get that preorder stuff then there are liable for mis-selling/false advertisement

I must stress though - I dont think it would ever come close to this

I believe the head of game just hasnt passed on the information

It depends on the edition of the game pre-ordered/bought. Amazon is a supported retailer. so if you pre-ordered the standard, you'll get the M55, collector's edition gets everything, and Digital Deluxe misses the defender aromr and valkyrie.

I am curious though, will the Collector's Edition still get the secret character and mission, or have they been removed from the CE and made into a DLC so everyone can get them?

The Collector's Edition will be getting the character, but I believe people who don't get the CE will be able to purchase the DLC character when the game is released, or at some point afterwards.

It's because I will be using MB Net and I don't know if you are familiar with that systems but it basically creates a "fake" credit card out of your regular VISA so you can use it as a normal credit card.

The problem is that it has an expiration date of only one month starting from the moment you activate it, which means I would have to activate it now to be able to make the pre-order and then I would have to activate it again in February so they could actually take the money from my bank account.

I just need to know if I can make the pre-order now and later change the credit card info with no problems.

For Canadians. Anyone have and idea why the ME3 collectors edition for PC isn't even listed on the website? A search doesn't turn up anything and usually if it's sold out it's still there but says sold out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Consider yourself lucky even for getting this far. When I made a similar enquiry I got told that everything included in the Collector's Edition was displayed on the web page.... to which I replied 'Read my original question properly - I've pre-ordered the CE, what pre-order bonuses can I expect? EA/Bioware are saying I get this and this, what say you?'

ok they dont take money out until they dispatch the item so normally that would be about 4 or 5 days before release as they try to get it to you before release date (i normally get it day before if royal mail are not on their strikes lol)  so if you preorder now you can amend the order at anytime up til id say a week before release date. To be on safe side id change the details mid feb as its better to be safe than sorry.

same thing happened to game in the UK when it ran of stock of the item so that would be my guess

It's the first time I'm importing something so I really don't want to screw anything up
