I'm sorry if my question is silly, but do the people that have preordered the Collector's edition get these items? I pre-ordered Collector's edition from Amazon and I REALLY want the new armor set. Can Chris Priestly please clarify if we'll be able to get it or if we have to order it from Gamestop?

Edit: Sorry, my bad, I thought this was for pre-orders of the regular edition of Mass effect 3. But my question still stands, if I pre-ordered from Amazon will I be able to get the armor and if not can I cancel my pre-order and order it from somewhere else (again, sorry if it's a stupid question, I've never pre-ordered anything before)

I pre-ordered on Origin, and while I'm slighly disappointed I won't be able to outfit my Shepard in some kickarse armor, I'm very pleased I'll be getting my Argus AND Raider. However, I'm not entirely sure about the range of guns that will be coming out with the new game, but I'm hoping they're nice guns. I kind of fell in love with my Eviscerator on my Vanguard playthrough in ME2. Until March 6th, nothing can replace that.

I was kind of disappointed with some of the DLC you got from Cerberus in terms of armor and such so the specs for these guns I'm hoping will be of decent quality.

I hope they make a DLC with the Defender Armor after the game's release.

Sorry for sounding stupid but, I checked Gamestop.co.uk and they don't have the N7 edition, neither do alot of shops here in the UK, so is there anyway of getting the Defender Armour without going to a different country?

Does anyone have any idea how do you redeem the pre-order content if you do it from gamestop ?

^ It's probably going to be a code that you'll have to activate in-game. That's how it happens with most games with ordering bonuses...

Well now we saw what goodies we get if we pre order at certain retailer, how about a nice little DLC, with those goodies?

I'm saying that because some people may not pre-order from different number of reasons, so what BW could do is DLC, like they did with Cerberus Network.

Will I get the AT12 Raider shotgun and M55 Argus assault rifle if I preorder the Mass Effect 3 N7 Digital Deluxe Edition from the german Origin store or is this offer "North American only" (havn't seen any preorder boni at the german site)?

The good: Thank you BioWare for sensibly handling preorder bonuses this time...no platform exclusives, only two real preorder bonuses so not a great deal....everyone can afford, deciding to pack the M55 with the better preorders also highly commendable...not trying to rip off fans and no more nonsense like DLC from Dr. Pepper. All in all, amazing job BioWare....thank you very much for caring about your fans.

The impossible: the Origin store....I am not currently in North America but I will be around mid 2012 so I wanted to order a copy from the North American version of the Origin online store to ship home to and US address and pay for the order with an american account....except there is absolutely no way that Origin will let me see the american version of the site so I'm stuck looking at a hieroglyphic page in crazy characters that make absolutely no sense and there's nothing I can do.....there's no .com version, there's no changing the language and there's no replacing the language in the address with en_US or anything of the sort. There is NO way I can buy anything from the origin store from where I am. Thank you EA for once again proving how completely and absolutely incompetent you are and that you only exist by leeching on great companies like BioWare.

If you pre-ordered from Gamestop it will be retroactive. The Armor is GameStop ONLY.

Aww, damn. I pre-ordered from Gamestop. But with Assault rifles being more or less abundant, I could benefit from that AT-12 a bit more, or so I think at least. But I don't like digital versions of a game I bought ... I hope we get the chance to buy those gear as DLC later on, but then ALL of it, for fairness' sake.

Buy code off ebay or trade for a code....that's what I plan to do. Near release day there should be more than enough offers for you to be able to get one fairly cheap....$5 or less while they are abundant.

Bioware needs to explicitly state which pre-order bonuses are available through each retailer. I've pre-ordered the ME3 Collectors Edition through Amazon and I want to know what pre-order bonuses I will be recieving if any. If there are yet unannounced but planned pre-order bonuses then that needs to be explicitly stated also. Otherwise people are going to be cancelling their pre-orders with some retailers and Bioware/EA is going to get the heat for it.

I am not as such needy to get everything to get off to ebay and pay five bucks for one simple item. I wouldn't do that. but 160 BioWare points for the weapon and maybe some other gear as we had with the Incisor and stuff, that's what I am happy with paying for, but even then it would not be as much as five bucks (160-240 BP at most for such a small DLC).

And to add, how was the incisor distributed? Was it some code or a download automatically unlocked after getting the Digital Edition? Because I somehow doubt that an Origin pre-order bonus can easily be given away.

@Major_Kong:
For pre-ordering from Amazon, you'd be getting the M55 Argus Rifle as it stands now. Maybe, though a bit unlikely I think, other pre-order boni such as the GameStop gear might come up later and you might get something else too, but I'd take that with a grain of salt.

It's spelled out VERY clearly....all ppreorders get the M55 but if you buy from GameStop you also get N7 Warfare gear while if you preorder from Origin you get the AT12 Shotgun. So Amazon is NOT GameStop and it is NOT origin so the onl thing ou get is the M55 which is for all preorders everywhere(probabl packed inside the game box).

The Origin preorder also applies to physical copies so yes, chances are 99.99% it's a code which can be easily sent through PM or email.

Great looks like I'm canceling my pre order from Amazon and switching to GameStop. I do hope the shotgun at least gets released as DLC like the Incisor from ME2 did.

In general anything labelled as exclusive won't be re-released as DLC. ie. Gamestop pre-order bonus is only going to be available to Gamestop purchases. Dissapointing I know but thats the way things work. This is just my understanding of the situation though. Probably best to simply wait for the post from the Evil Chris Priestly that tells us all the pre-order bonuses and to which regions/retailers they apply.

HURRY UP CHRIS/BIOWARE! Posted Image

Also any orders from Amazon usually have the pre-order bonus code emailed to you. So when you get the game remember to check your email address! I'd imagine it'd be the same for Origin (or that it would appear on your profile as an option or something) as it is basically the same thing as Steam. Don't quote me on this though. I'm just going from my experience of pre-orders from Amazon and Steam.

Also will people please read the whole thread thouroughly before posting questions. Posted Image

To further clarrify, if I may direct members of the Bioware community to the Mass Effect 3 Wiki page. masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Mass_Effect_3
This, also, has a useful breakdown of the Pre-order bonuses and the respective, currently announced, retailers for which they apply for. There is also lots of other information available which may interest die hard fans such as myself.

May I also bring to the attention of the UK community (of which I am a proud but disgruntled member due to being so casually ignored as always by those developers/producers over the pond) that all origin uk purchases are only available as digital downloads i.e. are PC only.

I hope this is of help to people.

You will ONLY get the Armor/N7 Valkryie rifle if you pre-order at Gamestop. You'll also get the M55 Argus rifle.

The only bonus content you'll get if you keep your pre-order on Amazon is the M55 Argus rifle.

I'm pretty sure you can cancel your Amazon pre-order if you want to; then go to Gamestop and pre-order it.              (or gamestop.com)

Don't you have a GameStop store near you? Internet purchases are always prone to errors.
