wel from what i saw the collectors assault rifle is the same one that came with the ME2 collectors edition. which is good news for us europeans who wont get the rifle from the book.

i wonder if the figure DLC is just the DLC weapons from mass effect 2

I'm wondering, if I get ME3 with Origin will it allow me to import my ME2 character that I played through on Steam? I assume the importing function will simply be looking for a certain file type regardless of what client the game ran through. However, it's EA, so skepticism is healthy.

Yes you will because your save game files are whats needed and they are in the document folder not in the game folder itself. I got both on Steam myself (i do have the disk versions as well as i like to have the disks for all my games but i run the steam versions).

If you didnt know already you can run your steam versions of mass effect 1 & 2 from the origin clients. You just need to input the codes where you redeem the game codes. Though for the original mass effect my code didnt work (seems not all the ME1 game codes work as the game came out before 2009) so i had to email EA my proof of purchase from steam which was a couple of screenshots of my steam library and then EA added the original mass effect onto my Origin Library with a new code of theirs. Mass effect 2 should work though you just need to input the cdkey. I just thought as Mass effect 3 had to be on origin why not have 1 and 2 there as well.

Basically if you want you can add all EA games on there. Just if the code doesnt work it means the code it too old so you will need to provide proof of purchase to EA for them to add it for you.

I can see how it would work as to have access to the multiplayer part of the game you need to be signed up to your EA account and internet even with an xbox at the time. But im not sure if they have implemented it across all platforms. Im guessing we will find out when we can access that part of the demo but im not going to be too fussed over the multiplayer part of the game until ive played thru the main game at least 2 or 3 times

Nah not yet, been busy doing a complete run thru of ME 1 and then 2 again. Finished ME1 yesterday after about 60hours gameplay and im about 8 hours into ME2 now. Ive only got one complete run thru of both so far and so i want to do at least one more where i keep loyal to Kaiden and make all the best choices. My other one was a near perfect run (everyone survived) where i romanced Thane but there was a couple of choices i want to do differently.

I'm making all the same decisions I did when on my first ever playthrough, with my first shep model. so..

Anyone know if the DDE from stores other than Origin are for real? I read that the DDE would be Origin exclusive, but I'm seeing it on Gamestop and Amazon (And not D2D, oddly enough).

I'd rather pre-order from Gamestop if that's the case.

the argus will be given to you on relase day probably through a redemtion code inside the game. as long as this best buy wasn't in austrailia you will get the argus

Yea i did all missions and got to lvl 60 and somehow i even had max amount of credits(9999999 in total), just wish you take it all with you thru to ME2 but you dont.   I got both DLC as well so i did them easily enough. So far on ME2 ive recruited 4 squad members 2 of them being Zaeed and Masumi (i got all Dlc for that as well) Gonne do all assignments before carrying on now including Project Overlord etc. Hopefully ill finish this playthru by end of week but i got hospital weds and 2 trips to docs fri so i might not.

GAME still haven't put the preorder stuff on their website. Chris said that it would be sorted by last Friday.

I think they will make the update this week sometime, odds are they couldnt do it fri because maybe they were getting a lot of orders coming in and taking the site down would mean loss of sales at the time.

As things have been confirmed by Chris Priestly im just going to wait patiently .

i'm happy to wait i just think its wierd they didn't do it at like 2 am or something on the friday as internet traffic for a European retailer would been little to none at this time giving game plenty of time to update the site

Yeah but Game's IT department works a 9-5 day i think. There wont be anyone working at 2am to do the update.

Good to know, the ME3 site said to check with the retailer on how to redeem, but I couldn't find any mention of it on Best Buy's website.
