So wait... What I don't fully understand yet is... People are saying that since we-including myself-pre-ordered the Collector's Edition we get ALL the pre-order items? From what I understand we get the shotgun and the argus what ever and the pre-order items NOT INCLUDING the assault rifle thats gamestop pre-order only... That is how I thought that is... Please tell me I'm wrong I want it all O_O

yep it requires origin to fully activate the game and you will probbaly need it to play multiplayer.

The EA Asia site states that March 9th will be the release date for ME3 for India and South Africa. So, if I pre-order the game, according to EA I'll only be able to download the DD edition on March 9th??? Or will I be able to get it on 6th?

is the AT12 Raider Shotgun(Origin bonus) cross platform, and is it going to be distributed as a code? The reason I ask is because I already have a pre-order at GS(SE), and Amazon(LCE) and I don't want to have another pre-order to get the AT12. If so I'll trade someone amazon credit, or buy it from e-bay(Although I hate those scalpers)

Wow that's really messed up I preordered it from GameStop too.  

Is it possible for a Bioware or EA rep to confirm if preordering the Digital Deluxe Edition from Gamestop nets you the "N7 Valkyrie Rifle and Defender Armor"?  I'm confused because before today it said clearly on the page for the DDE on Gamestop that these two Gamestop-exclusive preorder items would be included but now the message is no longer there.  Instead, the message for the Valkyrie Rifle and Defender Armor are only there for standard edition copies.

It would be really disappointing if Gamestop/EA/Bioware took out something many individuals originally thought they had purchased when they preordered the DDE...

tl;dr : Any possible explanation for why the "Bonus" pre-order items message is no longer there for digital copies on Gamestop?

Yes, I understand what the Omni-edition comes with.  But I've preordered the N7 Collector's Edition  My issue is that the "Ingame m55 Carbine Rifle" that is promoted was supposed to be the preorder bonus for ANYONE who preordered (at least, that's what is said on the ME3 FAQ).  But from what I understand from my interactions with the company, only those who preorder the "omni-Edition" will be receiving it.  Not ALL preorder customers, but only preorder customers of this specific edition.  I'm just hoping  someone official can come in and clarify what the situation is, if only so I can take it to EB and show them.

Bah, this is why I hate multiple "Ediions" of the game!  I just really want the rifle DLC

Ok i think i get what you mean, i can tell you that according to the ME3 site participating retailers will be giving codes for the "Ingame m55 Carbine Rifle" . I preordered my CE from Game and while it doesnt say anything about that particular rifle on their site they are giving it out. I found out by popping into a local store and on the shelves is a box with all the preorder bonus info and the "Ingame m55 Carbine Rifle"  is included. when i asked them why it wasnt on their site all they said was maybe its an error but the rifle is going to be made available to all their preorders. I dont know why EB Games might be limiting the rifle to particuler editions but it is unusual, have you tried contacting ea and asking them if you will still be entitled the rifle as EB games is a participating retailer. maybe they can clear things up for you. I suggest finding out the local number for them in your area and calling them, i seem to get better results when i call EA rather than using email or the online chat,

I mainly got suspicious because there was absolutely no marketing for preorder bonuses on either the website or instore (aside from on the "Omni-Edition, of course!). As I said, there's absolutely no universal preorder bonus aside from a free poster that appeared about a week ago! I'll be sure to contact EA, thanks for the help

I was reading the mass effect 3 facebook site and I came across an offer when you pre-order Mass Effect 3 on origin you get a free copy of Battlefield 3, but while looking on Origins I could not see the offer. Is it a USA only offer? And also I've already got a copy of Battlefield 3 on PC would it be possable to send a code to a friend?

EA is offering a free copy of Battlefield 3, if you pre-order it from Origin... But what if you want that box( i'm getting the collector's edition)? I mean i'm guessing you will have to sign up through Origin anyways(for pc that is), why not just give it to anyone who pre-orders it?

No, it's connected to your origin account, well at least that's how it was with the free MA2 copy when you purchased Dragon age 2.

Its seems to me that there is still a lot that is very unclear about pre-order bonuses for different shops and regions - which is not good when it is less than a month from release.

In fact, it is because of this that I almost missed out on the collectors edition entirely because I was waiting for the pre-order information for the UK so I could find the best offer for me before I committed to a pre-order. We do not own a gamestop, and I didn't think I could use Origin to order an xbox 360 copy for the UK - it still isn't clear where I could get those pre-order bonuses from as all the site still says is that a list for different regions will be up soon. Its a bit late guys - the collectors edition was completely sold out last month!

I had to order mine from an Irish gamestop, just hope it doesn't come back to front and smelling of guiness (only joking). Its still unclear what bonus I will receive as I don't even know if the Irish are getting the Valkyrie rifle and Defender armour. As long as I get the collectors edition, and the argus I don't mind - but I was gutted when I got my ME2 collectors and they never sent me the codes for my inferno armour, and it turns out I would have been better off going for the terminus armour and weapon as it was never released as DLC. I did all the dr pepper promotions and had everything I could for the game. I don't want to miss out this time round.

Which Gamestop did you order from in Ireland cos alot of em have closed down recently.

And Gamestop over here aren't doing the N7 warfare pack bonus as far as I know (Not sure on the Argus Rifle tho) GAME has exclusive rights on the N7 warfare pack for both the UK and ROI.

Correct. There are no pre-order bonuses associated with the CE. From what I've seen, customers in most European countries get all the pre-order items if they pre-order directly from Origin.

I have a question for someone who has pre-ordered from Origin before. Do pre-orders appear on your "My Games" list as soon as you place your pre-order, or do they only appear once they are available for pre-load/download? Thanks.

It's retailer dependant, not dependant on the version of the game. In fact i'd get more usable in game items from buying a regular copy from Origins as opposed to picking up the collectors edition in any store, due to all the pre order DLC shenanigans.

I really do not understand why they simply do not give people with the CE all the goodies by default.

ME3 / or any other pre-order game will show up in the "My Games" list  and the game will say "unreleased" :happy:

Really? Can you tell me where you got it from? I've been everywhere I can think of and most stores - online or otherwise - keep telling me they never had stock of a PC CE to begin with!
