Mass Effect 3 requires Origin, regardless of where you get it from and what version you get.

Don't matter much to me either way.  It's similar to when Half-Life 2 was released, and that needed steam.

Well I did manage to get the Origin Collector Digital edition as all the Collector editions are sold out everywhere here in Vancouver BC Canada

I have the Origin Collector Digital DLC edition but hoping I can get my hands on an actual physical Collector Edition once things settle a day or two after the 6th of March at EB or maybe Futureshop

I just logged in to say that I absolutely HATE retailer specific bonuses, and I am certain I am not alone. The fact that customers who pre-order the Collector's Edition are unable to obtain all digital content is terrible. Hopefully these items will be made available to everyone to purchase after some set period of exclusivity.

Exactly.
Here we are, some of the most devoted fans. Some of us, like me, ordered the day the CE is announced, back in June was it?, and after it has all been sold out, they announce this region and retailer specificity garbage.

I think this was handled verry well on DA2. They even had a screen listing all items and where to get them. That was like a treasure hunt, this is a marketing ploy in the cheapest and most soulless sense possible.

Well, i didn't pre order that early, around 26th of december, but i will get the Hard copy of the CE.
Still contemplating pre-ordering on origin for the pre-order bonusses.

At least Origin gives every DLC as far as i noticed through comparisons.

Origin doesn't get all of the pre-orders. Just the pre-order AR and a special shotty.

Actually thats just in your country, in the Uk and other countries Origin are giving all the Preorder bonus dlc including the N7 defender armor.

It is totally dependant on where you are in the world.

Is this normal english version? I mean what does that mean UK at the end of the title? Is there any european players (but not from UK) who pre-ordered the game at GamersGate? What language there will be? English, UK or international? Or it depends which one I activate on Origin?

I thought about changing from Gamestop pre-order to Origin's, maybe even getting the Digital Deluxe version, but ya know what?  I'm happy no matter which version I get.  I'm just gonna sit tight for my pre-order to become available.

My answer would've been different if I didn't fully pay for it.  But now I'm fully paid, and come March 6th, all I gotta do is walk in and pick it up.

I did some checking to see if bestbuy.com(where I prepurchased) was still taking orders on the collector's edition and it looks like they're now sold out online so I feel really good about finding that last week. It might not be as great as the gamestop dlc, but I think I still get something for preordering and there's also some kind of promotion where I should get a best buy gift card or something.

GAME has the N7 warfare pack and Argus rifle for UK and Ireland.

Gamestop will only have the Argus rifle.

You should be getting the Argus rifle with that order I think, the argus comes with every pre-order.

Gamestop offers the N7 Assault Armor. I just changed from Gamestop Pre-order to Origin's CE Pre-order....after what I said a few threads ago too. But then again, the bonus mission is intriguing. But I won't tell!

Thats for US orders only tho isnt it??... Whats the N7 Asault Armor? Are you getting mixed up with the N7 Defender Armor
