In order to get what I want I now have Origin on my PC and have had to purchase ME3 via Origin online.

I agree this is a mess... I've been loyally accruing reward points with Game for years, just sold a bunch of games to get store credit for ME3 and now this happens? The fact that they were the only UK supplier to be entrusted with the full wealth of bonus pre-order game content shows that they're considered one of the foremost retailers in the country, which makes me (and I suspect many others) feel all the more cheated by this turn of events.

Anyway I'll be keeping an eye out for that big package pre-order offer on play.com or amazon or something.

I now preorderd Digital edition from Origin. All other retailers are sold out for ME3 CE, and as a person that made the preorder from Game in July 2011, I feel extremely cheated...
I have ME1 and ME2 collectors edition...no ME3 CE...thanks EA, thanks Game...and f*** you

My preorder is now with Amazon, I hope to god one of two things happen.


Argus + N7 Warfare pack gets put on the marketplace as Day 1 DLC for Free, as a show of good will to fans of the series after this mess

Amazon + All other retailers get Argus and N7 Warfare Codes to supply both CE and Regular editions buyers with.

GAME have become a bad company in the last 6 month but honestly EA are as much to blame in this situation, First the way Preorder content is in the inudstry is terrible but EA knew a few things, First they knew of GAME's company issues and to opt for the Sell to highest bidder stratergy and allow GAME to win the bid for the N7 Warfare pack was a bad movem, EA also knew that they where gunna pull stock from GAME it wasnt until the memo circulated GAME and Gamestation stores that this news became public when it should of been known much earlier and preorders should of been up on amazon, play ect much earlier.


This Collectors Edtion should of also had a larger print run.

So can someone confirm: the Valkyrie Rifle and Defender armor are exclusive to GameStop in the US and do not come with the Origin pre-order?

That seems better then the gun you get with Origin, why would they make the pre-order bonus for GameStop better than their own store?

Also, its not EA's fault. Game couldn't pay them for ANY of its pre-orders which is why EA chose not to send them any. EA also announced that Game would not be getting any copies, a full 8 hours before Game finallyed emailed people to tell them their orders had been cancelled.

If a UK customer try Sainsbury's, I talked to customer services and they have confirmed it is in stock so I now have a Xbox preorder again for the N7 edition.

the site has been updated seems that Zavvi and play.com both seem to be getting the N7 Warfare pack with more 'coming soon'

The only worrying thing is the site only mentions the standard edition so will I get it as I preordered the N7 collectors edition from play.com?

EDIT: just checked play.com and my order now mentions the N7 warfare pack so thats answered my question.

After finding out that my pre-order of mass effect 3 N7 edition plus my pre-order item were canceled I was able to per-order with blockbluster. I've also pre-ordered the PC verson on origins.

My question is will the pre-order bonus work across platforms as I don't think blockbluster will be getting any of the pre-order items.

With Mass Effect 2 the items were cross platform between xbox/PC but PS3 was seperate. I assume ME3 will be the same.

OK, so I'm confused after reading another thread and hopefully one of the more knowledgable members can clear this up for me.

1. The FROM ASHES DLC is not the same as the CE DLC correct?

2. If number 1 is correct, how do we go about getting the CE DLC when they stopped taking preorders a while ago?

'From ashes' is part of the CE and DDE as well, it is the 'extra squadmate and mission' that you may or may not see in the origin store-description.
Also, it is the DLC that is sold seperatly (for if you have a SE) for $10
