I'm gonna do an extra pre-order it seems. I want that armor no matter if have to another product of ME3 from a different retailer, beside my origin order from june.

Edit: Crap i just relised if i pre-order from a GAME store in czech the game is not shipping on english :/. So i'll wait instead.

Question. In ME2, activating a pre-order code unlocked the item for both PC and Xbox 360. Which was awesome, as I play both versions and don't want to have to obtain two pre-order codes for the same item, just to use them on both platforms. The Digital Deluxe Edition even unlocked the rifle on my Xbox 360. Will this be the same this time? I have pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition on Origin and would like the item on my Xbox 360 too. (In the Netherlands, you cannot pre-order physical games on Origin, it's only DD).

Personally when I pre-ordered the Collector's edition I thought that I would finally be able to get all items without having to buy DLC later (I'm guessing you'll release the extra guns and gear later for a really high price), but I've already pre-ordered the most 'complete' edition (which turns out it's not) and I don't really have the money in the first place but I wanted the best of the last Mass Effect game. I am also from Europe and I hear that I might not even be able to get certain items based on my region (I don't really understand how it works if I pre-order online but I'm just reading comments of people saying that)? I am very disappointed. I wish you'd change your mind and make the pre-order bonuses for standart versions of the game and make all bonuses available in the Collector's edition. It is the last game of the series after all.

Well the only thing it looks like I wont have in my game will be the shotgun and honestly, it aint worth trusting EA to get it

I would like to see this as well.  I would like for the CE to have all of the available upgrades (with the exclusion of DLC, of course).  If I need to change my pre-order to Gamestop or whatever I can do that - but I need to know if it is necessary.  I hate seeing a lot of changes occur AFTER we have already preordered from one vendor, simply to see another vendor closer to release date offer some really tight weapons and armor .    Maybe we will have to wait until late February or very early March to make a decision.

now the question is if i preorder the standard edition on origin and the ce edition at game stop will the cd key i get from the ce upgrade the stanard edition in origin to the ce when it gets released or would i have to do to seperate dls of the game i know its a stupid question but ive never done this before so i really dont know and would i still get the preodrer bonus on origin even though it would just be the stanard editon

Bioware, please say your releasing those bonuses to retailers in the UK. I went into my local Game store and they said they probably wouldn't find out until a few weeks before the game is released! I can't wait that long! Please tell me!

What does it mean by "preorder will rollover?" If I already preordered the game at a store that wasn't Gamestop, am I getting anything besides the Argus rifle?

I remember the issues with the ME2 'exclusive' DLC

I pre-ordered ME2 from play.com and got the Inferno armour then found out that you could get the terminus armour and a blackstorm weapon from somewhere else (I think it was gamestop). I ended up getting the digital deluxe edition for my pc which got me the collector edition bonuses.

Then Bioware released a DLC with items I didn't have plus inferno armour. So I got it free by pre-order and then ended up buying it anyway just to get the other stuff. I expected the Terminus Armor and blackstorm weapon to be released with another pack which it wasn't.

So I've pre-orderd the N7 edition of ME3 this time from gamestation and more 'retailer' exclusives are announced. Can anyone at Bioware tell us if these 'exclusive' bonuses are going to be released later as paid/free dlc or if they are going to release one and not the other so I can change my pre-order so I can have all the dlc for the game?

No shotgun has ever been as usefull as a good armor and rifle by your side. I play more as a sniper than anything else so when enemies get closer I'd use the rifle and if they got too close I'd use squad members' biotic abilities but it rarely came to that especially once I knew the game inside out always a step ahead of the next ambush...hell even as a Vanguard in ME1 I'd often select the sniper rifle as a bonus skill, I'd max it and used that most ofthe time.

You assume people don't want enemies in shotgun range.  I like my enemies in elbow-to-the-face range.  Nothing as satisfying as point-blank shotgun bonus damage.  NPCs don't ambush Vanguards.  Vanguards ambush NPCs.
