OKAY I am done trying this by myself

I recently got a new computer, and I wanted to the transfer all my characters from dragon age origins onto the new one. I already have the games bought and stored ready to install on my amazon account where I bought them from.
So, I copied the DA:O file/application onto a USB. I didnt MOVE it, I copied and PASTED IT.

Long story short I had to stick with the computer I am on now (not the new one). I went to go play DA:O and not only were all my characters WIPED but ALL my DLC (Stone prisoner and BD armor) were GONE. And awakening uninstalled. After almost pulling my hair out I thought well okay i can reinstall them.

After waiting FOREVER for Origins to reinstall, I installed awakening and the DLC as well. I went into my game and NOTHING showed up. Awakening wasnt available to play and after starting a new game, the DLC wasnt there either.

Please help me out, this is driving me insane.

Did you also copy the "Bioware" folder inside your Documents over to your new computer? This is the one that stores Awakening, DLCs, characters and save games.

Make sure you move it exactly to the same relative place - from your old Documents to your new Documents.

Im still on my old computer, where i originally installed the game. after i tried copying the files is when this all happened. now i tried uninstalling and re installing. I go to install awakening and my DLC and it says it installed. but when i go into the game the only available campaign is the original one and my dlc is no where to be found.

That did not answer my question.

Did you copy the Bioware folder to your new computer or not?

If you did not change anything on your old computer, I am at a loss as to why your old installation would cease to function. Did you maybe exceed the limit of having DA installed on 5 computers at a time?

As for your current problems, did you do a clean re-install? Procedure is as follows:

While connected to the internet, run the Dragon Age launcher and de-authorize your game. After that manually delete ALL of the following folders: /Applications/Dragon Age, ~/Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age, ~/Library/Preferences/Dragon Age Origins Preferences and ~/Library/Preferences/Cider Preferences. Now re-install the game and all your DLCs.

De-authorizing the game is important due to the 5 computer limit, and deleting the preferences folders equally so because the SecuRom files are stored there.

Also, if you want to save your characters, make a copy of ~/Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Characters before you delete it. Move it back after the new install is complete.
