Is there any way to allocate squad point with out doing any mission i
mean when i am on Nomrandy i press Esc then we got an option Squad but
when i click it i only see Shepard & i can allocate points to
sheperd but i didnt see any other squad members to allocate the points
for them Except when doing missions ? So is there any way to allocate
the point while not doing missions ? Below is the detail i fetch from gamefaqs Faqs
where it say that i can spend points while not doing any mission simply on Normandy
But i am only seeing shepard and no other members and i have got 5 members uptill now
& have upgraded them while doing missions but not as it mention below pls help me out
appreciate it wait for replys
Squad: The squad screen is where you view and upgrade powers for
you and your squad members. As you level up, you will be
allocated talent points, which you must spend using the
squad screen to upgrade your character's abilities in
combat. While on a mission, this screen will show only
Shepard and the team members you have with you, but on the
Normandy you can use this screen to upgrade everyone's
abilities. You can also use the options menu to have the
game auto-level each character for you.

GameFAQs is wrong.
You can only allocate squad members points when they are in your squad.

@Bogsnot1 thanks for your utmost reply, you mean to say that i can only allocate the squad members point when i am doing a mission or any side quest right ? Basically for this part
" but on the Normandy you can use this screen to upgrade everyone's abilities. "

Either mission, sidequest, or just landing on a hub world like Illium, or the Citadel.
You could always land on a hub world, select the first 2 crew members, level them up. Then select the Normandy airlock, change crew members, hit escape to bring up teh menu, select squad, allocate the points, tghen select new crew emmbers, and repeat the process. Its not the most streamlined process, but it beats boarding and exitting the Normandy to bring up that menu.
